Back when Jeff Ireland was GM some fans came together to pay for a banner to attempt to get Jeff Ireland fired. I did not contribute to this or support this at the time but I'm coming around when it comes to Ross. Is it time to do something like this to get this team out from under Ross's terrible leadership and decision making?

I'd contribute if I thought there was a realistic chance of Ross selling the team due to some banners being flown, but realistically it won't do anything. Even Ireland stayed on for years after that banner first flew.

The one thing that historically has led to an owner selling the team, or at least stepping away from team operations, is doing something unethical with a massive media firestorm surrounding it. If something like that happens to Ross, then it becomes realistic because the NFL doesn't like that kind of negative publicity.

Steven Ross hired one of the best NFL gms in the game and a young brilliant first time coach with time to grow.....what on earth should he be blamed for?

I'm fine with McDaniel, but Grier is far from one of the best GMs in the game. He's had a lot of misses, which I can mostly overlook if he got the QB right. But Tua's performance today supports the narrative of him being a choker in big games. If Tua doesn't prove otherwise in the last 2 games this season that's a huge miss for Grier.

Ross has also had a long time to show he can find the right people to lead the franchise. So far no playoff success in 14 years and counting. So I'd like to see a different owner, but realistically we can't do much.

Narratives are an ever-changing entity....we were a paper thin 4th quarter defense from Tua going into Buffalo in the cold and taking the division from the Bills. So I think "choker" is a bit dramatic although I can understand the emotions after today.

We have quite a talented team which is quite young, I'm extremely happy with the job Chris Grier has done personally.

Putting this team in perspective? We have a still fairly green Qb and at times an obvious green young brilliant HC. It's their first season together and we are in the midst of a disappointing stretch. The expectations for this season have came to a screeching halt, the expectations for this team 2023 and beyond? Should be quite high I think.

The **** are you smoking? One of the best GMs in the game? Grier is trash, cant draft worth a ****. He has presided over a multi year **** show. And Mcdaniel hasn't proven jack **** yet we could still very well miss the playoffs and even end up with a losing season. Remimds of everyone fawning over "genius" gase who turned out to be a fraud.

I think the head coach is fine. He cannot make the throws. OF course hanging his hat on Tua may be a huge mistake.

Everyone should be upset by the last 4 games, if not upset not sure how much of a fan a person is.

It'll be interesting to see when push comes to shove if he hangs his coaching career on Tua. I think publicly he'll back him, but privately he's smart enough to see his limitations.

That last int was way underthrown. TE was wide open. Hoping Tua does not blame the receivers again as he has been trying to do lately.

Different people react differently. It seems you are OK with the team playing bad and losing.

Tua is a mentally weak person. Flores broke him completely and any time he’s having a bad time he doesn’t dig himself out of it. He spirals out of control and loses confidence easily. It’s unexplainable how he had the first half he did and then turns around and has that second half. Don’t think I’ve seen a player do that in any sport.

I don't think Flores broke him. I think Tua is what he is, and always has been. Flores just knew it and wanted to smartly move on, as did the entire organization. Then they failed to get Brady. Failed to get Watson. And were basically stuck with Tua for another year. Then Grier like the complete moron that he is, went all-in and tried to save his job with a Chubb trade on a very shaky team.

Huh? Where did I say Flores decided to leave? I was saying Flores wanted to move on from Tua (as did the whole org).

Maybe try to collect and donate the money to a local food bank or something instead. Anyone who contributes to things like this is …. Well to be nice about it…. Stupid. It won’t change anything. Ross obviously has more money than brains anyways. It’s not going to make him sell the team. So if you want to try and make a change somewhere for something at least put your efforts into something that just isn’t a game. Maybe do something that actually helps a situation or helps someone.

I don't actually think it will make him sell the team but will be more embarrassing for him and I think he cares about that.

yeah and embarrassing for the players. Their families. The sensible fans. Really does wonders for attracting talent to help improve the organization. It’s a foolish idea amongst childish fans to be honest. That’s all it is.

He would also be smart enough to know they don't really have any short term options unless we want them to get Brady. I would hope McDaniel would be open to seeing what is out there in the draft but they still would have to start Tua regardless. Unless he retired in which case they are even more screwed and they would probably be starting Jimmy G.
