New Dolphins defensive coordinator Mike Nolan is coaching at the Senior Bowl for the fourth time in five seasons. If history repeats, look for a few of the players he is tutoring this week to be wearing Miami uniforms in the fall.
When Nolan was head coach of San Francisco, the 49ers drafted six players his staff worked with as the coaches of the South team at the Senior Bowl from 2006 through 2008.
Dolphins coach Tony Sparano acknowledged Nolan’s eye for talent at the Senior Bowl and said he hoped to use the week of hands-on work with the 53-player South roster as well as Nolan did with San Francisco.
