I've got 2.

First, I started at DE for a High School team that went 13-0, undefeated, and won the state championship in football. When we played for the championship it was out in Hays, Kansas, on a flat astroturf without a pad (not field turf) field in negative degree weather.

Second, towards the end of the year my wife and I started dating. I still remember wanting to go to Con Air and getting dragged to Addicted to Love. Years later she told me she actually wanted to see Con Air, but felt like she had to do the "girly" thing.

Personally, I enjoyed graduating.

 

I started last Monday and honestly, I'm ready to graduate. I wish we could just skip this whole year to graduation day.

 

I don't remember Senior year all that well..

I drank a lot and didn't really go to too many classes :shifty:

Not that you should do what I did...

 

My twin brother and I took identical twin sisters to the prom (Tonya and Tricia). I ended up dating Tonya for about a year afterwards. Our senior class got into trouble for doing some pranks on some other schools....we stole one school's mascot, and we also stole a Big Boy from in front of a restaurant and hauled it onto the roof of a rival school. But it was all good clean fun. I wish I could back to high school knowing what I know now. I would probably do a few things differently, but it was a good time. I had even more fun in college....high school just seemed to fly by too fast. Enjoy it because it sure beats working. :up:

 

I remember taking a girl out to the movies... The movie was Eddie Murphy: Raw.

Most uncomfortable first date evar.

I had all 4 wisdom teeth cut out on the Friday before school began on Monday. Since they were all impacted, it was major dental surgery. So I got to spend my first week of my senior year all swollen and spitting blood. On the upside, I had a prescription to percoset!

 

Good to know, bro. Hope it continues to go well for ya. I had a test on my second day of school so I hope your second day doesn't end up with a test.

 

Cool, glad you like your schedule. Mines not too bad either. School's the same for me every year, lol. I go there, zone out for four classes, fool around for three, then go home and watch football or play soccer lol. I don't care much for high school - too much things I'm not interested in to pay attention - but I do all my work.

 

I see you haven't had that grammar class yet :chuckle:

Well I can remember one thing about high school that kept me interested. :shifty:

However in all seriousness my senior year was a great time. My only advice is to just enjoy the time you have with your friends because chances are you will all be separated a year from now. It's a great time just enjoy it. :up:

I understand...I don't think I'll ever be one of the creepy 40 year old guys wanting to relive their high school days when they were the man myself. HS is just a footnote really.

 

Well, even though the Statute of Limitations is long over, I'm still gonna take the 5th. :shifty:
