Well, Chad Pennington's himself. He moves the offense consistently, and doesn't turn the ball over. But he also needs protection because if he's throwing passes without his feet being set he's throwing a wobbler.
Speaking of the offense line, that group has some potential, especially with Donald Thomas being healthy. But the unit lacks consistency, and the jury is still out on new center Jake Grove.
The defense has been hot and cold, putting teams in difficult down-and-distance situations, but failing to finish the deal on third downs.
