Just saw this go by on SC. Not concrete or anything but they say that KC and Shanny are close on a deal. edit: and by shanny i mean shanahan, obviously.
Shanahan to Chiefs? Herm is gone and the rumor is, from PTI, that Pioli wants to hire Shanahan. Not too surprising, considering that Shanahan is friends with Belichick. _
Mortenson reported Shanahan is already close to signing a contract as their new head coach. so it looks like thats going to be the situation there.

One of the radio stations out here reported this a couple of days ago, only problem is they had no way to prove it. I don't think Shanny the coach is too bad, but Shanny the GM is what turned out to be his downfall.
