We've joked a couple of times that Broncos fans need not buy Tim Tebow jerseys when they can merely change the nameplates on their Brandon Marshall shirts.
A woman in Denver saw something more than an obvious attempt (key word:
attempt) at humor.
According to the Denver Business Journal, Daniella Grieve of Lombardi's Embroidery is converting No. 15 jerseys with Marshall's name on the back into Tebow jerseys.
"My brother had the idea," Grieve said.
"He was watching the draft, and he said that was one of the first things that popped into his head."
With Marshall jerseys selling locally for as little as $7.47, it makes sense to save the $80 for a replica jersey or the $200 for an authentic jersey.
Instead, fans can have Grieve make lemonade -- and the extra $160 can someday be used to get Tebow to sign the finished product.
