I've pondered this question over and over. I think it could be a good move. He's 31 years old. He's by no means a Ricky Williams, but I'd think he still has miles left on him. I believe, he'd be an ok second back (if Lex doesn't perform) and a great third back.

I didnt know he was out there. I think we will find out tonight.

i dont think it will be a bad move but i would like see what Kory Sheets can do......

It really couldn't hurt the team at all. He'll sign for vet minimun and bring a nice veteran presence to the team. I wouldn't be against it -
Seriously?
He has been extremely mediocre for the last 2+ years and has been removed from football for a couple of weeks now.
At 25 a guy can come in and regain football shape in a week or 2, but not at 31.
Not gonna happen folks. -
Edge is something like 40 yds from passing another running back on the all tiem list, from what I've read he really wants to play so he can get that done.

edge can help....
he is still really good in the passing game.(pass pro, recieving)..he can spell Ricky there.DolfanCole likes this. -
It's Lex's job to lose at this point.
If we win, and he performs well, he'll likely be solidified for the rest of the year.
If we win, and he performs poorly, he'll either be passed up for Sheets, or possibly Edge
If we lose, and he performs well, again, he'll likely keep his spot
And if we lose, and he performs poorly, odds are we'll see more split between him and Sheets.
If we drop to 4-6, we will NOT be wasting our time picking up additional players to salvage this season. We'll take our current team, find out what we've got where, and then take those sweet sweet draft picks and make it better. -

no, wait for the draft
Ricky will be all we need @ RB for now.
