I hardly ever listen to the Sid Rosenberg on WQAM. For the most part I can't stand the guy so for me I found it funny that the latest development has him claiming that the dolphin brass have informed Brandon Marshalls people that its in his best interest not to appear on his show.

Had my fill with the Marshall/Sedano(790) interview. Would have been redundant to have him on with Rose and Sid.
Also, I don't think Marshall would know enough about the Mets and/or NY Giants to answer Sid's questions...Trowa, Tin Indian, Coral Reefer and 2 others like this. -

That's the last thing I got from that report. I'm thinking its more of a Ban of his show for all Dolphin players and personnel. Which I would be in favor of cause I hate that clown. Who knows though...

everyone in every interview with Marshall these days will be trying to bait him into snapping off or saying something he regrets
they all want a negative sound byte to take out of context
why would anyone in their right mind let Marshall sit with rosenberg
it makes total sense to me -
Big picture though, the Dolphins are in a tough spot from an Organizational standpoint, they just paid Marshall 47 million dollars, he is a star, you have to market your stars.
Cannot do that via media blackout.
In a perfect world they just can stay behind the walls of the castle and only come forth during the Season, this isn't a perfect world. -
Not sure if you read the second story that I posted but Sid made it clear to Florio that he intended to grill Marshall on certain issues. Also its perfectly within Marshalls right to know what sort of questions he is going to be asked prior to any interview before appearing on a show.

dunno i saw Marshall on NFL Total Access the other night and Eisen was looking for something but didn't get it. Said Marshall usually you are more vocal.
That is a bigger stage than WQAM. Brandon handled himself very well. -

Sure, I happened to listen in on that show and heard the whole mess between Florio and El Sid.
That said, sooner or later, he will have to deal with questions about Denver, on the Joe Rose show when he was asked about McDaniels his phone mysteriously was disconnected..
BMarsh should do an interview with Kim Bokamper. -
LOL It was so awkward. Joe was all "yargh, I hope that question didn't cause it". He did try and back Marshall into a scenario where he'd be agreeing that McDaniel was a -as Joe put it- "spoiled brat" out in Denver. Joe realized his mistake right away; it was out of line and he knew it.

And respected, or Jim Mandich who is known as a straight shooter/pull no punches but not out to make a name for himself ala El Sid.
AS for "why' Marshall will sooner or later have to answer some questions about Denver, the Dolphins are going to have market him and you cannot put up billboards and feature him on commercials only to have a 'yeah but, questions remain from his time with the Broncos, 357, 791 911 calls.." followed by playing the tape from one of them.
The Pastriots could take on Moss simply because they had won several SB's recently with strong season ticket sales, the Dolphins are in a different situation.

Marshall is being marketed. He's doing lots of radio shows, just not Sid's.
