We're now about five weeks away from Matt Ryan, Michael Turner and Tony Gonzalez. Training camp is here and the preseason kicks off with the Bills and Titans from Canton tomorrow. Assuming I was on the air tomorrow (and I WILL be back before the start of the 2009 season) what 's the ONE question you'd have me ask Coach Sparano. Can be something about training camp, preseason football or even early preparation for Week 1. I want this board and you people to be a part of my show and the voice for Dolphin football. God Bless.
ask him if he believes ronnie brown is going to get signed before/or during the season......and if he truly believes ronnie is our future RB for the next few years
How about if HC Sparano views Special Teams as a developmental area, or an area that can gain additional field position, or deny it to an oppenent?
Thanks Sid, hope to hear you on the air someday. Please ask if Tony sees ILB and NT as key draft needs for 2010 draft. Would also be interested to hear if Tony see's Penny sticking around another year or two after this season, and if so, does he see Henne being willing to wait that long to start?
Thanks brother Sid. Sid will be contributing content to our new front page and will help us promote our site. For those of you who do not yet know, we are the only team site that Sid promotes on his site, http://www.sidrosenberg.com. He did this because he feels at home here. Thank you Sid and thanks to all of you who have welcomed Sid.
Has he seen J-Lo, and if so who's got a better backfield; J-Lo or The Phins? My original question regarding Ronnie Brown was already asked.
Coach last year the dolphins flew under the radar screen all summer long going from 1-15 to 11-5 and winning their division, many experts still do not have this years team on their radar, how is this team better and do you see them going further into the playoffs ?
Thanks Sid, I can honestly say I am turning the corner as far as you. I am becoming a Sid backer Main question: How quickly can D-Thomas come back and is he really as good as he showed going into last season? Also, what is Sparano's relationship with J-Peezy and especially JT like
Ask him to elaborate on what he inferred when he said there were a couple things he saw from Donald Thomas as far as physicality the other day that he hasn't seen for a long time. Sparano's demeanor to me certainly indicated he was enamored with the power and perhaps nastiness. His body language and how he answered indicated to me that he thinks Thomas could be a major factor this year , health provided of course .
I'd want to know about Vontae Davis... I haven't heard that many things about him, which is a good and bad thing considering he is a CB, but to me it seems like Sean Smith is over-shadowing him (which is also a good and bad thing).
Ask him if he got the separation from scrimmage that he was looking for and if so who and in what manor. Thanks Sid.
it's hard to come up with a question i want to ask that sparano will answer honestly. i want to know things like "which unit stands out the most", "which unit improved the most" "what side of the ball looks best" etc and he'd just shrug those off.
An interesting question would be if he feels we have the future at Nose Tackle presently on the team or if it is something we will have to address sooner than later?
All great questions.... As Dolfans how interested are you in watching T.O. with the rival Buffalo Bills even during preseason tonight?
doubt TO will play alot....atleast not enough to gather any valuable information..... ill just be watching to see some damn football finally!!!!
Sid here's one. The Dolphins were the victims of bad drafts for years. Have the dolphins closed the talent gap? And which positions do we need more talent at?
At what moment did he realize that the team was in fact a team last year? This isn't related to wins so much as a feeling that the players had bought in and bonded in the way that lead them down the stretch.
Yup, he's 10am-2pm weekdays and will also host the Dolphins postgame show. You'll also see some original stuff from Sid on the homepage this season.
Congrats on the gig! I really want to know why Coach Tony wears the rain/wind gear on a sunny 95 degree.
Hey Sid....gratz on the gig at QAM....now can you do something about getting Cefalo replaced....ughhh. I would ask Coach Sparano.... Whats the single biggest thing he felt HE needed to improve upon to take our team from 11-5 to the next step. Thanks Sid... VT
