Robin (#1 seed, Superhero)
Sidekick to: Batman
Advantages: Perhaps the most famous sidekick. Ever. Eventually got his own comic. Cool utility belt.
Disadvantages: Bad rep amongst hardcore comic enthusiasts. Almost wrecked film franchise. Those ridiculous tights.
Road to the Final Four: Defeated Rick Jones, Kid Flash, Bullwinkle and Battle Cat
vs. Hobbes (#8 seed, Comic/Cartoon)
Sidekick to: Calvin
Advantages: Pounce-and-tackle attack. Mastery of the scientific method. Good-natured.
Disadvantages: Poor drawing and math skills. Weakness for the ladies.

Disadvantages: Intellect appears ordinary, even dull, in comparison with the brilliant Holmes.

vs. Chewbacca (#2 seed, WTF?!?)
Sidekick to: Han Solo
Advantages: Consumately skilled fighter, smuggler and pilot.
Disadvantages: Unintelligible to all except Solo and other Wookies. Socially challenged.

QFT, and I'm a big Watson fan. I've read the entire Sherlock Holmes series written by Doyle, but Tonto should have been a lock for the Final Four. -
