How does one break a face? I had the wrong player w/USC's Smith, but the correct Smith never broke anyone's jaw. I really doubt the whole suckerpunch thing too since it's pretty damn hard to break someone's nose without them looking at you (twice).

We'll draw the line at teammate fights but fighting with women, DUI's, and all the other fun charges this team has accrued is cool?

Better cut Incognito while we're at it too.

It's football, not ballet. Fights happen. There's way worse things a WR in the NFL could be doing.

If I remember the story correctly Steve Smith broke his nose because he thought Lucas started a rumor that he was gay.

Steve Smith is just as big of a drama queen as Sims-Walker. He cries for the ball all the time.

    I wouldn't have signed Incognito.

You can sukerpunch a person while they are looking at you.

They had issues for literally, years. How many times did you see him crying last year while CAR was god-awful?

Not with the history they had you can't. If Lucas didn't know that was a possibility at that point then he sure wasn't very aware of his surroundings.

-you hit them so hard it compacts their nose and cracks the bones underneath the eye sockets
-easily they do not know it is a fight, one second you are arguing with them the next moment your nose hurts
-I live in the area slickj, both were described as sucker punches

A 6yr gap means he has issues he has not dealt with, some people can have a bad yr or even a couple of yrs, but 6?

That is why pass on Steve Smith, loose cannon.

So you are saying that Lucas should have his head on a swivle all the time because on the off chance one of his teammates will try to sucker punch him? That is crazy.

It all seems very overblown. People throw around the term suckerpunch very loosely and this seems the case when Lucas describes it as a fight and not him being blindsided.

Smith is way less of a loose cannon than Marshall imo, and would cost a hell of a lot less. Although I'm of the mind that we really don't need to spend money on another WR after drafting Gates.

lol No. It's not crazy to assume that a guy you've had issues w/for YEARS would try to throw a punch if the two of you get into another argument. It's common sense.

I have had issues with people for years, I have never been sucker punched. I know people who have hated people for years, and they have never sucker punched anyone.

Who do you hang around with?

Also he didn't get into an argument, Lucas was talking to someone else and Smith walked up and punched him.

lol Apparently people that are outside of the bubble you live in.

In the world I live in, it takes a lot less than ongoing issues for a span of years to get punched in the face.

I like my bubble, better than your bubble. A lot less punches in the face.

The real world isn't a bubble.

If you leave your house and go anywhere in public, then you should know people can be violent for any reason.

Btw, it's not who you or I hang out with. In Smith's case it's a co-worker.

My co-workers do not go around punching people in the face.

Yes there is violence, however it is not like we live in a society that constantly punches people in the face at work. In fact, in the NFL, it is pretty rare for someone to actually walk up to someone and punch them in the face. Generally when there are fights it is during a time when they are already being physical.

lol Congratulations? Idk I think most people know of co-workers fighting. If you don't then that's great, but it doesn't mean it's the norm.

People don't get punched in the face often in the nfl? Dude what planet are you on? Almost every game has some kind of a scrum. One of it's biggest stars just ripped off a dude's helmet and slugged him on the ground in the middle of the field lol. Fights are a normal thing every training camp too. Ever go to a game? How many fights do you see between fans?

People are just violent. If you aren't expecting violence from any kind of conflict with a person you don't really know that well, then you're probably going to get blindsided at some point.

People are violent, however they are not sadistic. It might be normal, however it isn't something that happens on a regular basis. In fact, most people will go through their entire life without punching someone in the face.

Also you are not getting my point. My point isn't that people don't get punched in the face often in the NFL. It is that most people do not get punched in the face while having a conversation with another player on the same team. The fights in training camp and the fights on the field are of the variety where people are in the middle of doing something physical, such as blocking or tackling and then a fight breaks out.

It is extremely rare in the NFL for a player to be standing there and have someone else come up to him and just punch him in the face. The only time I have heard this happening is with Steve Smith. Even with Bill Romanoski where he ripped off a helmet of a football player and broke his jaw, it was during a play.

lol What's the regular amount of circles that a normal person attempts to talk in during a lifetime?

Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to work where I'll hope to be suckerpunched and put out of my misery

Every time MSW is talked about, I've posted statistics upon statistics that verify he offers absolutely no big play ability, no vertical threat, and no greater option than what presently resides on the Miami Dolphins. He would only be counter-productive as another "diva" WR and a guy who's skill sets aren't needed. He isn't a fit.

Not to mention the guy is always hurts and blames poor play on those injuries. He's a fragile person, both emotionally and physically.
