that saints game was horrible. it felt like our team was having their best performance of the season while dominating an undefeated team...only to have the officials, or some one above them, literally give the game to the saints. it could have been our biggest and best win of the season. instead it felt like i was watching professional wrestling, a bunch of staged hype with a fixed outcome. the whole thing stunk of corruption and left a bad taste in my mouth. pisses me off now even thinking about it.
I tend to not believe anything Singletary says unless he drops his pants first and says "I want winners!" Sounds to me like Samauri Mike was thinking about Joey Porter..
Excellent read. Also significant is the rule change, based largely upon what was perhaps our most disappointing loss last year against the Saints. I recall the SI article that surfaced later that week after the game , picturing Ginn's superb, but unrecogniized effort to dislodge the ball, and nulify the Saints TD was outrageous to say the least. Considering the audience that watched the presentation, at least offers some consolation, in signifying and acknowleging the injustice endured that week.
