We used a ‘protected practice squad spot’ on him to keep him in the organization early on in the season.

But Sinnett was on the active roster as the backup during Tua’s IR games. When we tried to send him back to practice squad he gets claimed by Philly.

FWIW It seemed Like Dolphins brass liked him.

His preseason heroics will be remembered.

Would definitely be interested in seeing what he can do. Just a matter of if he ever gets lucky and is in the right place when injuries happen.

Typical Dolphins, Sinnet should have been starting when Tua went down, he is definitely better than Brissett. Sinnet will probably go on to have a good career with other teams, as usually happens with former players we let go.

Sinnett will never play a down in the NFL.

Maybe not, maybe yes, but I know he's better than Brissett that's for sure.

I get why you'd start an experienced veteran who's pretty good scrambling in a bad pocket, but yeah...I would have preferred to see Sinnett as well.
