It snowed and sleeted last night. I hate snow. My office is empty. I'm bored, so bored, I'm looking thorugh our Office Max book. Discuss.
I had to roll on the street on the way to work because the sidewalks weren't shoveled yet. I kept thinking: "Please don't hit me: I'm too pretty to die."
It has snowed here almost non stop since Monday night. I have been pretty much stranded at home the last two days. My best friend was in Ohio and he turned over his semi because of the snow.
We had been pretty lucky here, but it dumped a couple inches in the middle of the night, and the road crews weren't ready for it, as everything appeared to be to our south and east as of when we went to bed.
Sorry, this is my first time starting meaningless threads. I just don't have as much experience as you...
It's really crappy here. Snowed all night and morning, now it's pouring raining. I'm sure you have the same thing going on FFF, I'm not too far from Philly.
ive never seen snow...sometimes i wish it would snow here, when the day after christmas im sweating in 90 degree weather. others im glad i live in this type of climate.
I couldn't imagine celebrating Christmas in that kind of heat. That's insane. The chill of winter always adds to the magic of Christmas...IMO of course. BTW, good to see you on here Nappy
Yeah, the storms have all turned to rain, leaving slush that freezes into solid ice for days. We have yet to have a real good snow storm.
Dear FFF, I just checked outside, still no snow, in fact, it's kinda warm. I may cut out early so I can catch an hour at the beach before I go home. Love Opie West Palm Beach, FL
I've been skiing a few times and never liked it. My hot ski instructer and the beverages in the lodge were the only things I liked!
That I don't mind. I either want a dusting of snow, or an all out blizzard that keeps me homebound for days. Not this in between stuff that we got last night. Just enough to be annoying, but not enough to justify staying home
That was your first mistake, ski instructors don't know anything! You need a hot expert skier to show you the ropes. NOW IF I COULD ONLY FIND ONE!
We're getting wacked by this storm right now. Expecting about 8 inches, which is nothing considering the amount of snow we've seen this year. I don't mind snow all that much, its the shoveling I hate. NJ, have you been skiing much this winter? I was up at Sunday River a couple of weeks ago.
I was going to go today, but it got to icy in the streets to drive. I have only been out once, up at Gore. I love Sunday River!!! Going to try and go to Loon and Wildcat in Feb.
Um... NO! I hate it and despise it with every fiber of my being, every breath in my body, every...well, you get the message. Don't ever trash snow in front of Greg. He's got his skis parked next to the front door even in the summertime.
No other beer has better pictures on the beach however. I can PS some Strohs in if that would make you two happy.
You guys make me chuckle! Snow is no big deal. Come spend a winter in the Great White North and see if you complain about a little snowfall... I'm happy as hell that when I go to work tomorrow morning, it'll actually be a few degrees ABOVE zero! WOOT! Maybe the hair in my nose won't freeze when I go outside tomorrow...
yeah, im on the other side of the Delaware river...this is gross...slushy, icey, blech. give me nice, real, packable snow...not this crud.
