The humidity in GA and FL will take out the best of us. I can stand the heat, but never the humidity.

You know, now I feel ripped off regarding my TV. I found out the 32'' and 37'' versions of this particular model have a different (read: lower-quality) panel than the 40''+ versions.

Budget buyers get shafted again.

well it was the sunniest & hottest day YET this year up here in Seattle.

I went to Golden Gardens (no, NOT golden showers), which is a beach (scratch that), THE beach up here in Seattle. It got into the 80's, so i was topless, flip flops, and drank a 12 pack of beer with friends while barbecuing. what an awesome day.

you floridians get spoiled with that weather. we only get it several times a year, so when it comes, we cancel ALL plans to go to the beach. :)

sorry to hear that D..... yeah buying stuff like TVs, you really have to do your homework. the good thing is at least you are enjoying your TV. if you paid slightly more, or didn't get the top-of-the-line, it doesn't matter... you should still be able to enjoy your TV as if you hadn't found out that new information.

Went to my daughters playoff soccer game, sadly thier season is over with a 3-1 loss. The team finished 14-2-1 she lead the team with 24 goals, they only lost 2 girls so the team should be strong again next year. It was a fun season.

Sophomore Brehanna Farris knotted the game at one, 29 minutes into the first half with a breakaway goal, her team-leading 24th of the season.
Despite the postseason loss, the Lady Tigers had an incredible spring, recording eight shutouts and outscoring their opponents 73-15.

Well, I found out perusing a 150+ page thread on AVSForum, so it's alright if I didn't know ahead of time. It's general knowledge that smaller TVs don't have the tech of the larger ones anyway. Still, I do wish I had the panel from the higher-end sets.

Either way, it's a nice set, and I'm glad I got it. Can't wait to get a PS3 and get some games and Blu-Ray movies going.

    You poor guy. :pity:

360's not a bad system at all, but PS3 has more games I want to play. Its doubling as a Blu-Ray player doesn't hurt either. Now if only Capcom would port Dead Rising over to the PS3...

    $400 for the 40GB PS3, $500 for the upcoming 80GB PS3 + DualShock 3 + MGS4 bundle. $500 is a steal for that.

You can get a neutered 360 for as low as $300, the REAL 360 for $450, and a Wii for $250.

Get a used one, or a 360. All three of those games are present on the 360.

and you're right.... it really comes down to which system has the titles you want to play. for me, its madden, forza, and halo...... ergo, Xbox 360

the blu-ray player is pretty sweet on the PS3 though.
