I am a college senior and I just switched to minor in Film. Heres my first film I have ever directed.
I didn't focus at ALL on the storyline and plot, hence the tacky ending and some parts. I was focused on the atmosphere and "feel" Hopefully I gave off a vibe..
Yeah I know this is the wrong section MODS, but I need some opinions and views on it! and this section gets visited the most..

Not at all bad for a short flick, had suspence. The best part was when Santonio Holmes shoots Sanchez in the back.

The sound track was very good IMO. I like the black & white, and I like the distant & stationary camera location from the opening shot that gives off the affect that you're on the outside looking in.

Pretty damn good for your first film...Good angles.

Maybe for the next one you can do a porno. 3 minutes and 35 seconds of that and I'm good to go.

Hmm. I think I hear Scorsese slitting his wrists.

any specific reason you go with the "grainy" film approach?

We were forced to film with 16mm. The course forces us to. We aren't allowed to use digital or anything other than 16mm. To edit the films we had to use the old school machine of cutting the film with a razor and taping together the cuts with tape. -
Ok thats what I was wondering.
