Did the fan make the 40 yarder or what? I can't find it anywhere...
I was slightly wrong. It was sixty yards, but the kick happened vs Oakland. I got confused because the fans also received tickets to the Rams game.
Where did you get the info of forty yards? I haven't seen that number except people saying it's more realistic than the sixty. There was a whole thread about it as well and no-one said forty either? Im guessing the people missed. But I guess we have to wait for someone who was there. EDIT: Ahhh I see they moved it closer because of the criticism. Anyway Im interested as well. Anyone who was there?
Feck it, let's start a pool as to who will know this information later...my chips are on Stitches. However, Paul13 I think goes to the games. I win ,I change your sigpic for a day. Deal?
I was there. It wasn't 60 yards, and it didn't even look like 40 yards to me…more like 25. No one made it though.
If there was no holder a 40 yarder would be from the 30 yard line...goal posts add ten yards deep obviously. Did you see where they kicked from yard line wise? Thanks for the info!
It was hard for me to see (other side of the field), but I could've sworn the announcer said 20 something yard field goal. I asked the guy I was with, he doesn't remember either.
**** yeah! I had a Benjamin riding on that side bet... let's see that pays out at 2:1 . . . or roughly 500 frisbees
I was at the game, they announced it as a 30 yd fg. Both the guys missed. Younger guys. They got tickets as opposed to 10 grand... But the half time show with the guy from run DMC... was.... Embarrassing to say the least
Yeah, they should have just counted the roll of the ball, can they even get it to the goal posts. Interesting that it was only two guys in the end. Maybe the third guy was SEAN and he got detoured at half time?
I don't believe the moved it because of criticism, I believe they didn't have a clue what the hell the marketing dept was doing, and when they found out, they did something about it.
