WOW the day I have been waiting for for over a year. SOCOM has a date and now I can get a PS3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After Socom III, I just can't see them going back to basic play like it was on Socom I & II. It's on a new system (supposedly the best), they are going to try and make it bigger and better like they did with Socom III and it just didn't work.
My hope lies in Slant Six. I think they will bring it back to what it was and what it should be. Hopefully my faith isn't burned to the ground.
I didn't play Socom 2 much, but I LOVED Socom 3/Combined Assault. However, I hope that Socom doesn't get delayed again...it was supposed to come out in July. I haven't got a ps3 yet, but, Socom could push me over the edge. Until September, however, I'll be enjoying my 360.
I only ever played 3, and I thought it was a fun game. I never understood people's complaints since I had only played 3.
Yeah thats pretty common. Socom 2 was an addiction for me, played it more than I play Warhawk now Played Socom 2 literally everyday for like a year, leader of a clan and all that good stuff.
To be honest, a couple of my friends tried to get me playing Socom 2 after I had played Socom 3/CA, and to be honest, I didn't like Socom 2. I hated not being able to customize all my stuff. I wasn't a fan of the large maps in Socom 3, but, I would always play in the small map rooms.
Replace Socom 2 with Halo 2, and that was me, lol. I wasn't leader of the clan, but I was high up in the elite team of the clan.
