"A man's suffering is similar to the behavior of gas. If a certain quantity of gas is pumped into an empty chamber, it will fill the chamber completely and evenly, no matter how big the chamber. Thus, suffering completely fills the human soul and conscious mind, no matter whether the suffering great or little. Therefore, the "size" of human suffering is absolutely relative." - Viktor Frankl

I'm pretty sure for most message boards you have to speak english :tongue2:
thanks to VO for the sick ass sigs.

Charlie: If you're not as educated or as informed what you do is you start your own party and you yell the loudest.
Honestly I do my online fellowshiping (is that a word?) here. Most of my Christian dialog is done in person. Here I answer questions and respond to prayer requests. It is great and I love it but for me I still end up ftf. I can't be sacramental or get sacraments here. That requires personal contact. This can be a wonderful addition to personal contact but never, imo, a complete sustitute for it.
What are you looking for?

Of course, however when everything becomes a battle online concerning Greek Translations and hidden meanings and Jewis traditions of the time conversation or..fellowship degrades and it becomes tiresome.

Sometimes it is simply nice to chat about potato salad.

I guess I must be dense. Are you looking for something other than the lounges here?? Or are you looking for Christian conversation that doesn't turn into an academic debate? Is this about online friendships beyond here? I am confused, I'm sorry.

No worries Ohiophinphan.
More conversation that does not transform into or begin with reaching for a Strong's Concordance because "they've got it all wrong".
Eh, the more I consider it, perhaps were I was discussing Christianity may have been more to my liking then I'd think at first blush.

I'm still not completely with you but it is a couple of hours past my bedtime here in the east. I leave for four days of meetings in Chicago tomorrow morning so I'm off to bed. Night night and hope you find what you are looking for my friend!

IMO the fellowship here in this forum is wonderful. Pastor Keith and others have always helped, prayed and are very open in here. NO ONE debates, we just talk and listen, so to speak.
We come in with questions, prayer requests and opinions and are always treated with the utmost respect and kindness.
Keep coming in, I think you'll love it.
