I don't believe that what iam about to say is homerism, but if you think so, i understand.
I have never felt more peaceful or confident in our team, right now, then at any time in the past 30 years.
i believe the Miami Dolphins are a VERY VERY dangerous football team RIGHT NOW. I dont believe that the texans can play with us, the hunger is getting stronger, the unity is getting tighter and the execution is getting more and more precise.
I think we all may learn a lot about football this year, and how important chemistry and toughness plays a role in success and how far that can take a team, a team that was considered one of the worst of all time.
Right now, IMO, the two weaknesses we have are no #1 wideout and no #2 corner... i will take the rest of my guys and match them up against anybody because of the majic that is going on in that locker room.
BELL, ROTH, PORTER, ALLEN, FERGUSON, HOLLIDAY...THESE DUDES ARE MEN YA'LL..they are not playing around this year, just imagine them standing there on defense waiting for the opponent to walk up the LOS.. throw in a couple of big nasty athletic rookies and there my friend, you have very good defense.
On offense, i really believe something special is happening, with one very special football player in Ronnie Brown. i will not bore you with details. but i feel that with this particular offense and this particular player, defenses are already on their heels before they play us, from our unpredictibility executed by highly skilled football players.
I'am sharing with my brothers and sisters how i really feel and dont be mistaken, this is not me trying to prove the theory of positive thinking, thats BS, this is how i feel.
ok.. so who wants to slap me?

Not going to slap ya. The last TWO games, they've played better than I would have thought going into a SECOND season of this regime. Chemistry and hunger are going to be key: is it sustainable? "Passion" on its own, seldom lasts for long - that's where chemistry comes in.
On the other hand, we could devise some sort of signal interception scheme like that Pats*. That seemed to work out pretty well for them. -

I think we will learn alot about our team from this game this weekend... Even though we are underdogs, I believe it is a game we are supposed to win.. Im definately not taking Houston for granted though, this will be an extremely tough game...
Can we win games we are supposed to win, or just the games we arent (Rats, SD). -

I will line up next to you to be slapped but my enthusiasim is guarded as I realize we are still in a rebuild mode and there are going to be bumps in the road along the way.
They have done a heck of a job putting this team together but it is still in the first year after only one draft, apparently one heck of a draft, but only one draft. The best is yet to come and I feel certain about that.felly smarts, djphinfan and HULKFish like this. -
Enthusiasm is contagious bro and its obvious that this team has it in spades and we the long suffering fans are reflecting that enthusiasm too

I think this team and this organization is turning fans all over the place to their way of thinking. Now, I will temper any delusions of grandeur with the reality that we'll hit some bumps and have some bruises along the way, but this team has changed it's personality already and is quickly turning even the sourest of fans back to the bandwagon...
So, I'm with ya' as well dj...and I sure do like what I've seen so far....djphinfan likes this. -
Well said. I think a lot of guys on offense and defense are sick of the last couple years and they have decided to come together and play as a team. The thing that I see that is different with this team from past years is we are playing together. We are cutting down a great deal on the penalties and turnovers which always seemed to do us in. We also have the most accurate QB in NFL History on our side.....I know Chad will not beat a lot of teams with 50 yard bombs, but we don't need him to do that to win.
We are a top ten team on offense and defense. In year's past when a guy like LT was lined up inside the 2 yard line on 4th down you could almost gaurantee a score, but the Tuna fixed our lines and he realizes that the top teams in the NFL win at the line of scrimmage. I am not going to predict winning the AFC East or the playoffs, but we are 100% better than we were last year. It's so much more enjoyable watching this team, seeing the Wildcat, seeing our defense play together. Very proud of this team. -
