i have been noticing this for a while, but it really stood out to me tonight aside from quick slants and passes to the RBs, it seems like half of his completions come from busted plays. he just runs around and finds somebody. it has obviously worked for him, but must drive the fans crazy. i got kind of annoyed watching it
He's got a cannon for an arm but the fat galoof just won't go down for sacks unless you've got a fatter goof trying to tackle him. It is vastly annoying and I'm not even a fan of his.
annoying huh? lol. I know I didnt mind when Chad did it this year. Those kinds of plays keep drives alive. Against a defense like Baltimore, thats the only way to beat them. They will take away what you are trying to do. You have to be able to improvise against the best D's. This is a great attribute, not an annoying one. He's like an accurate version of McNabb.
On a couple of those plays the baltimore defenders fell down.. That one ridiculous touchdown pass.. to Sherlock Holmes or Ketchup Ward or whoever it was where he had to adjust and then ran all the way across the field. I'm pretty sure if defenders fall down and the QB can't hit an open WR he doesn't deserve the high paying multi year contract he had just received the year prior.
Yes, because he is the ONLY player on the Steelers who suits up and plays. Give me a break. Even the Ravens went 11-5 with Flacco, and the Steelers have a MUCH better all around team than the Ravens IMO.
Holmes juked that defender out of his socks, and was working very hard for his QB. Roethlisberger was scrammbling for his life, and was able to find Holmes and had the ball in the air before the defender even fell. Big Ben is definitely worth his contract, becasue he does make those plays.
one of the keys to that game, and the next one is keep him in the pocket, bad things happen when you let him out.
That's why they call it a 'team' The Cowboys are just a bunch of guys who play football in the same town.
