Sony Offering Cash to new Devs for New Original PSN Titles

    Good idea imo... They're pretty much guaranteeing developers their investment on new original titles.

    Smart move. They finally realized they need to give people incentives to make exclusives for a third place console. Definitely a step in the right direction.

    It's a good idea in theory, but being as it's only for PSN games, I don't think this is really going to help Sony sell PS3s.

    I still think Sony's decision making up to this point has sealed the consoles fate. It will survive but at the end of the day they will be lucky to break even on PS3.

    The PS3 is going to be around for likely 5 more years as Sony's #1 console. I think they'll eventually get things on track again.

    One of the few moves that Sony's gaming division has made recently that makes sense.
