Owner not talking to the coach...
Rumors surround about Cowher...
Coach apathetic to the situation on talking to his boss...
Just the makings that he is done and he knows it. Seen this situation all to many times in sports.

bills loss was yesterday lol. cowher rumors are a couple of days old. i'm sure they will talk this week
-
He should be fired immediately along with Henning.
Name Nolan interim head coach and start putting feelers out.. No need to have Sparano continue to stunt our development on offense if he is lame duck.. Open up the playbook and see what Henne can do these final two weeks.eric, Bpk, Cpt T Kirk and 8 others like this. -
Can you imagine if Sparano were fired and Henning were made interim head coach. NOOOOOOOOO

Dead man walking!

Let's hope.

Not so certain about that, but wouldn't be surprised either. My gut says he gets another year w/ a new OC. And if we do fire him, it has to be Cowher or nobody else! No sense making the move if not.

Whether he stays or goes, Sparano did help orchestrate the best season we have had in nearly 2 decades....
And he bled Aqua and Orange.. For that I will always be grateful.. But the time has come to make a change.. As much as it pains me to admit it.eric, Shoes, dolfan32323 and 5 others like this. -
Make Todd Bowles the interim coach. He's already the assistant HC but you get your rooney rule compliance out of the way

Also, I disagree with the premise of the OP. Typically, the owner doesn’t talk to anyone during the football season, unless their names are Snyder, Davis, or Jones. Doesn’t mean anything.Bpk, padre31 and Dol-Fan Dupree like this. -
Morano is nothing more then a puppet in Tuna Miedoffs NFL smoke and mirrors show! Hit a fanbase quick with marginal success get their hopes up so the ignore the true failure being built! -

As for Ross, well he is an odd duck to begin with, this is his first time owning a NFL franchise, who knows what he is thinking at the moment? To take an off the cuff comment from Sparano and stretch it out into "he is going to be fired" seems a case of wishful thinking imho.late again likes this. -

Tony Sparano sounds like a man on the verge of a nervous breakdown.. Talking in the third person and suffering from delusional thoughts...
For the love of god we need to fire him before dementia kicks in.DolfanJake likes this. -

Now that I am a day after the loss and no longer thinking emotionally, if they can hire a good OC and put the effort into the offense that they put in the defense, then the Dolphins could be a very good team next year.
People want to give all the defensive credit to Nolan, however Sparano deserves as much credit for the defense as he does blame on the offense.Bpk and late again like this. -
