The deal is worth $33 million, with $11 million guaranteed, a league source told ESPN.com's Matt Mosley.
The extension will be formally announced this week and could be finalized as early as Tuesday, sources said.
The agreement continues the Eagles' practice of identifying standout young players and signing them to long-term contracts, as they have done with players including Mike Patterson, Sheldon Brown and Joselio Hanson.
