It depends on the individual. I used to work at a Chinese fast food place years and years ago. My boss, also a Chinese-American, would make a lot of really tasteless Jewish jokes. I came back at him and he didn't like it. He stopped when I told him that he shouldn't dish it out if he couldn't take it.
