There is tremendous respect gathering from several national media outlets that our football team is VERY well coached, and, that this guy has the making to be a great one.
I have no links, just hearing things here and there...People are getting that this guy has lost some great players, and some good players, and still ,has his team improving mid year and primed for a run with a qb in his 8th start.
Our coach could be a great one..dolphindebby, Clipse, muscle979 and 5 others like this. -

He's the best coach we've had since Shula.

BUT I don agree he is CLEARLY that best coach we have had in a long time! -
Well, Wake's conversion to OLB clearly is a work in progress.
Sparano is right though, the Broncos need three wins out of 6 games to make 10-6, we need 5 wins out of 6 games to make it to 10-6.
Our destiny really is hinging on two things, the Saints Pats game and the Pats Dolphin game, that is absolutely our clearest path to the tournament.jetssuck and dolfan7171 like this. -

Here's to hoping that Brady's arm is soooo tired in throwing 50 passes, in a loss, that our rookie DB have a field day. After Moss's praise on Davis, he has something to prove.dolfan7171 likes this. -

But JJ the HC had retired when he left the Cowboys, his stubborness just did not allow him to realize it.djphinfan, gafinfan and dolfan7171 like this. -

What makes Sparano so good is the team, everyone on the 53 man roster and even the practice squad is always prepared to do their jobs, and sometimes do other people's jobs as well.
With us, even the Practice Squad players are coached up and know what is expected of them, that takes an incredible amount of work preparing players who more than likely will never play, week in and week out.
Nate Garner is a good example of that, from being Cut after Traning Camp to playing 4 roles in one half, that does not happen by magic some Asst Coach has prepped him to play.
Saban never did that for all of his screaming, Cameron never did that, JJ never went that far with it, Shula used to do that all the time.
Kim Bokamper tells the story that a Lb was injured or sitting out, so Def Coordinator Arnsparger spent a day with ST player Glen Kozlowski showing him how to play Lb and Kozlowski started that weekend. -
