Not sure what the franchise tag number is on a runningback but its probably more than they want to pay Sproles. Not sure what they do if they lose both LT and Sproles though.

i was surprised by this, Sproles is such a big part of what they do as a home run hitter, returner, third down pass catching guy, plus he has shown the ability to step in and do most of what LT did when Tomlinson was banged up.
