Now that's a flagrant foul.
Former New Jersey Nets star Richard Jefferson bailed on his stunning fiancee — pulling the plug on his posh Manhattan wedding at the 11th hour without even alerting some of the guests, The New York Post has learned.
The cold-footed forward's decision to ditch onetime Nets dancer Kesha Ni'Cole Nichols was so last-minute that some of his oblivious friends had already shown up last Saturday at the swank Mandarin Oriental in Columbus Circle for the $2 million wedding that never happened.
Pretty low, IMO.

Ouch. Very low indeed.

I'll never understand this kind of thing.
If you're not ready to get married, then don't get in engaged. Its really not complicated.Frumundah Finnatic and opfinistic like this. -

If you are unsure, then don't do it. The thought process is exactly the same as making the decision to wear a banana hammock or not.HardKoreXXX likes this. -
Well, better to back out now then suffer for a few years then suffer through a divorce, it's rough on the fiance' but it is a lifetime committment, better to enter into only when one is 100% certain.

Best Low-Blow Left-at-altar Story Evar:
I knew this guy who was heavily into drugs. Through all the **** he put his girlfriend through, she stuck by him. Even while he went to rehab and entered a 12-Step.
Fast forward a couple years later, he's cleaned himself him up and he asks her to marry him. She says yes, and they book a (non-refundable) Wedding Cruise for friends and family... did I mention it was non-refundable?
Well, while he was getting his **** together, he found God. So THE WEEK BEFORE THE WEDDING he tells his bride-to-be that he cannot marry her unless she converts to Christianity. She is Jewish, and of course says no. Wedding off.
The best part of the story is that they still went on the Cruise. God what I would have given to see the tension between those two families when they came into contact on that boat :lol:Frumundah Finnatic and opfinistic like this. -
Look at it this way, shes not gonna ask you to go door to door trying to get people to become Jehovah witness. -

Maybe he had a see-alice problem.... hehe

This guy was a Grade A A-hole while at the U of A.
Good to see he didn't outgrow it. :pity: -
As bad as it is to do that to your fiancee the night before, this only reminds me of how great some women have it in America.
How many guys do you know that have gotten 6 figure settlements every time they've been dumped by a gf?

wow, i wonder if he got any of the deposit back? 2 mil? the NBA is still big huh ?
and these two are both no good. they broke the cardinal rule...players and cheerleaders/dancers are not to "co-mingle".
Way to go Mandarin Oriental...you racist bastards. -
did you guys see, he gave his friends one of his credit cards to go crazy on the wedding night anyways...they spent a million dollars in one night..
-
What is he thinking? -
-
It would be tough to spend a Million in one night. That would be some lavish hotel rooms, ALOT of drinks, and some damn expensive hookers. -

For that he's a douche? :no:alen1 likes this.
