You need to hurry the **** up. I'll probably just rent this game. I bought the first one, and I did enjoy the game and experience however it was very short and a quick beat. Not worth 60.

I was going to post asking about this game. Please let us know what you think. I'm a huge SW fan and I love the first game. Dual wielding is going to be sick. FNV has bored me already & wasted $70 on FFXIV CE to which I rarely play anymore. I'm hoping I will enjoy this game compared to the last two games I recently got.

But you get another free month! heh I bought CE too and still playing it but yeah, disappointing. Liked first Unleashed game and looking forward to the second, being a SW fan and all, even if it is a quick game.

I was lucky and found a Russian version today & tried it out for the PC. I did play the game with a 360 controller & edited the registry to play in English. Game did crash on me a few times but not as much as Fallout New Vegas (even with the patches).

They did cut back on saber moves, force power & such. I ended up doing the same saber moves over & over again.

    Example:

I would tap "X" 3 times then finish it off with either "Y" for lighting or "B" for force push. It felt simpler this time around, esp when it came to raising your Health/Force points & powers. Actually, everything felt simpler this time around. But, the game is challenging and fun.

IMHO, the overall game play, targeting system, graphics is much better than the original but it felt shorter. Its a good game and the final battle is one long *** fight. I ended up doing the LS, so I'll have to play again to see what the DS ending is like.

If you don't mind how short the game is then it's a worthy game but if you're a SW fan like myself, it won't disappoint. Though I have a feeling after seeing what the DS ending is about, I'll probably shelve the game since its replay value isn't like FNV and I'm not into getting all the achievements.

Here's the Dark Side ending to the game if you were curious.

Thoughts about the ending after choosing the LS option.

Vader probably let Starkiller beat him so he could be captured to find out where the secret Rebel base is located at and use him (Starkiller) as a pawn once again. The fight was long but there were times when Vader just let you hit him.

I played for 20 mins and went back to Fallout:NV... Very underwhelming. Corny too.... Even for Starwars. I dunno... Just can't get into it. I was very much looking forward to this.

Didn't play Tuesday any and Wednesday morning I played a few hours, later that night I played for a couple more hours. Not to spoil anything but was finishing a fight and thought oh man, game going get real interesting now and then the credits came up. I'm thinking really...? I know action games are short but feel ripped off, maybe just my imagination but the first one seemed longer and had a better story. Was also a shortage of characters I felt compared to the first one. I'm a big SW fan and enjoyed the first, but I'm left disappointed with this one. I was enjoying it but game was over too quick and story was lacking in my opinion, though it had potential. I'll probably go back later to see other ending and maybe get a trophy or two. I guess we'll get some DLC later on and will feel a little more like a full game. FFXIV and SW: TFU 2, not doing so hot in my choices lately.

Disappointed that Maris Brood isn't in the game. </3

I recognized him as the LT on Battlestar Galactica.

I liked this game quite a bit. Story wasn't quite as good as the 1st one, but the action was equally as good.

This. The first Force Unleashed game was fun, albeit somewhat repetitive and unispired. I did like the fact that you could level your character in a certain way, and that you couldn't "max out" your guy - which forced some creativity on your part. So it was a straightforward action game with some light platforming and RPG elemets thrown in.

With Force Unleashed II, it seems like they dumbed down the whole experience. There's really no options to customize the character anymore, and the level design is somewhat bland. Also it's annoying that they start throwing more difficult enemies at you from the beginning (though that's not a bad thing, necessarily). The storyline feels a bit contrived to get mileage out of something that should have been a stand alone game.

I picked up 4 games a few weeks ago (Fable III, Rock Band 3, Force Unleashed II, and Fallout: New Vegas), and this one is easily the most disappointing. I'm going to rip through it over a weekend after I play through the others.

Rented it and played through it a couple of weeks ago. I too was a little disappointed. I did however like some of the newer force powers. Also some of the swordplay with the dual sabers was pretty cool. But overall I liked the first one much better. The storyline in the sequel was pretty ******ed.

The game was very short, even on hard difficulty it was fairly easy, the customization was lacking. Overall the game was very average.
