It just seems like something happens to franchise's at times that just make them flat out losers, and that is what Miami is into. We look and search for ways to lose a game. It doesn't seem we hardly ever get a ball to bounce our way, a call to go our way, and good luck at all.
When games like this get close the whole franchise has the same reaction....were going to lose. The players, the coach's, the owner, the fans. Top to bottom we all know in our heart that we are going to lose. We know that we are going to get that terrible feeling in our stomach. We can already feel before that coin toss that sadness and heavy hearted feeling of a loss. We are losers top to bottom.
I know that some feel we are headed in the right direction, we get a couple good WR's a safety and we are going to be a good team. I agree, I love the talent at QB, love Reggie, great lines on both sides of the ball, good CB's, good LB's. We have talent. Then I look at the Detroit Lions, look at the amount of talent they have on that team and they still can't win. Because like us, losing is in their mind, spirit, just in their blood.
I wish and dream of a day that I don't feel that way, but I have felt this for years. I describe it as the feeling of being a Dolphins fan, disappointment. I know a lot of you feel the same way. We just want a glimmer of hope, a little luck, just something to cheer about.
Ok off to drink......more.

If there is somehow a way to lose a game, Miami will find it.

stop the whining everyone. there was a ton of good stuff to be excited about today. the end result sucked, but this was completely different feeling than the OT loss last week.

I agree somewhat, however, i'll say the following.
IMO our team has a bunch of gold nuggets, but gold nuggets who have just been taken off the river, and are still mixed with dirt and dumb rocks and leaves, and just river flotsam. The team still needs to clean all that crap, leave those nuggets, and find more nuggets to compliment.
We have talented players, but we also have some horrible, horrible players mixed in. This team is still 50/50 ratio of good solid players and bad crap that needs to go.BlameItOnTheHenne and dolfan32323 like this. -
We've been beaten down for the last 12 years. However things are looking up. Never thought we were playoff bound this year, it's just losing 2 games in a row in OT is very disappointing.

Its not really the losing of the games that really gets to me, its just how we lose them. The missed field goals, the sack/fumble today, the Naanee fumble, tipped pass INT's. Its just more about how we lose than the fact that we lost. Even more the fact that we outplayed top to bottom both teams that we lost to in the past 2 weeks.

Yeah this was way more disappointing today. To play as well as we did and still manage to lose it... takes a special kind of a talent for a franchise to falter like we have so often.

You learn how to lose and you learn how to win. This takes time.

The other thing this team needs to is get rid of the bad luck. The laws of averages says that you will recover 50% of the fumbles you force on any given day. Last year, Miami forced 13 fumbles, and this year, they have forced 6. At this point in time, they have foced 19 fumbles over the past two years and have not recovered a single one of them. Arizona fumbled the ball 4 times today, and Miami didn't come up with a single recover. Miami fumbled twice and lost both.shouright likes this. -
