Odrick - Stay Wake - Stay Grimes - Stay Vernon - Stay Jordan - Stay (Hold out hope that a new HC/DC can utilize his skill set) Delmas - Go (Like him as a player, just doesn't stay healthy) R. Jones - Stay B. Gibson - Go C. Sturgis - Stay (likely wouldn't extend him beyond his rookie contract) R. Matthews - Stay Wallace - Stay (Open to releasing him in 2016 when contract situation is better) Clay - Stay Sims - Stay Miller - Stay Hartline - Go (post June cut) Tannehill - Stay Lazor - Stay Coyle - Go Philbin - Go
Hahahaha, AHHHAHHHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!! Wait, you're serious, aren't you? Who do you recommend we replace this horrible 93 rated, 21 td to 9 int abomination of a quarterback with? Which guy coming out of college is better? Which free agent can you bring in to do a better job? Since when do we give up on QB's after 2 1/2 seasons, when they've made good progress every season, and were a known project when drafted?
you gotta be kidding, its clear that they have cut it down because they can´t protect him to set it up, do you realize that this poor SOB has been sacked 127 Times in his short NFL career ? 127 times...yeah right let that sink in....
Odrick stay Wake stay Grimes stay Vernon stay Jordan stay, give him more time maybe he pan out Delmas go R Jones stay B Gibson go Sturgis iffy, depends what other kickers are available and how he finishes the season R Matthews stay Wallace stay Clay iffy, depends how much money he wants, Sims isn't that much of a downgrade and they can do better than both at TE Sims stay Miller stay Hartline go, getting older and going down in production, they need another playmaker to go along with Landry and Wallace Tannehill stay, see how he progresses with a better offensive line and play calling Lazor iffy, I'm leaning towards go, depends who else is out there Coyle go Philbin GO GO GO GO, don't let the door hit you on the way out
Simply STAY or GO Odrick - STAY (Good locker room dude, versatile player) Wake - STAY (Love him, but I can see him getting traded) Grimes - STAY (Money) Vernon - STAY (Young and talented) Jordan - STAY (switch positions) Delmas - GO (Love the passion though) R. Jones - STAY (All Pro) B. Gibson - GO (Bad hands...) C. Sturgis - GO (No confidence) R. Matthews - STAY (Has the talent and size, just needs the reps) Wallace - GO (but will stay unless traded) Clay - STAY (needs to get healthy) Sims - STAY (developing very well) Miller - STAY (huge strides this year) Hartline - GO (average player is average) Tannehill - DEFINITELY STAY (Needs a decent o line.) Lazor - STAY (see Tannehill) Coyle - GO (stubborn) Philbin - GO (may be another casualty from the Ireland era. No excuses though)
Sorry I completely forgot I posted on this topic. Do you know what LaFell, Edelman, and Amendola would be doing on any other team? Nothing. They all look good because Brady makes them look good. Lafell has averaged 600 yards per season his entire career until this year he's flirting with his first 1000 yard season having only started 8 games out of 11 games played this season. This is the same guy that would get benched by Ted Ginn Jr a lot of times in Carolina. Amendola and Edelman is a wash talent wise compared to Hartline, Gibson and Mathews. I don't even like Hartline and even I know that if he played for the Patriots, he would look just as good as those two. And that's just Hartline, both Mathews and Gibson are more talented than Hartline and they would excel ten fold in the Patriots. By the way, what has Wes Welker done lately? In almost the same amount of games played he barely has HALF the yardage he compiled last season and last season he only had somewhere around 700 after having averaged 1200+ per season in the Patriots.
So, you would much rather a talented receiving corps than a consistent one? And while Brady is great, he (nor any other QB) can suddenly grant a receiver consistent hands.
I definitely think we should keep Tannehill but A LOT of those sacks are on him. He has horrible pocket awareness...
Odrick - Stay Wake - Stay Grimes - Stay Vernon - Stay Jordan - Stay Delmas - GO R. Jones - Stay B. Gibson - GO C. Sturgis - Stay R. Matthews - Stay Wallace - GO Clay - GO Sims - Stay Miller - Stay Hartline - GO Tannehill - Stay Lazor - Stay Coyle - Stay Philbin - Stay Coledge and Dallas Thomas - GO Finnegan - Stay Wilson - Go
Welker also had a career high for touchdowns last year...lol. Why are we talking about Welker? There is a huge difference between the offenses of NE and Denver. The only real difference in Welker's stats is that he didn't catch as many balls. I disagree with alot of the sacks being on Tannehill. When the pocket collapses as a whole, there is nowhere for him to go.
Also the Broncos had so many other weapons to throw to. They also had D Thomas, Julius Thomas, Decker, and passing to Moreno.
I would like Tannehill to roll out and buy more time. Sometimes I think he stands in the pocket too long. When it starts to collapse wish he would use his mobility more. For the record I do like Tannehill and the O line is terrible but would like to see him use his mobility more.
LOL at the pocket awareness crap. LOL!!! There IS NO POCKET kids. When he tries to roll out, our tackles have already been beaten, so there is no OUT to roll to. As he realizes this, he tries to step up, but there is NO up to step into. Since the guards have been pushed backward. Please watch the games before posting, I mean this is football 101 stuff. Nobody, not Brady, not Manning, not Brees, not Ryan, NO QB can be productive when their line is this bad. Look at Brady's first few games this year. He sucked. We beat them because the line was new and hadn't gelled yet. He looked like crap until the LINE played better. It's not that hard, stop hating, open your eyes, watch the games and LEARN.
I think just about any sensible fan would. I'd rather have Edelman out of the 3. Hartline is such a happy footed clumsy fruit cake. But still useful as trade bait. I don't think a 3rd for Hartline is out of the question. Of course, he could end up on the Patriots and go to pro bowl some how.
Odrick - Stay Wake - Stay Grimes - Stay Vernon - Stay Jordan - Stay Delmas - Stay R. Jones - Stay B. Gibson - GO C. Sturgis - Stay compete R. Matthews - Stay Wallace - Stay Clay- Stay Sims - Stay Hoskins Go Miller - Stay Hartline - Go Tannehill - Stay Lazor - Stay Coyle - GO Philbin - 3 Yr Mistake don't make it 4
I'm sure if Brady was throwing the ball to the Dolphins WR's, instead of Tannehill, the Dolphin WR's would be seen as more consistent and better than the Patriots receivers.
Odrick - Stay Wake - Stay Grimes -Stay Vernon - Stay Jordan- Not Sure Delmas - Stay R. Jones - Stay Gibson- Go Sturgis - Go R. Matthews - Stay M.Wallace - Go only in a Trade Clay - Stay Sims - Stay Miller - Stay Hartline- Go, maybe via trade Tannehill - Stay Lazor -Stay Coyle - Go Philbin -Go
I guess one cannot participate using cell phone? Or I just have not figured out how to copy and paste with one..lol
Odrick - Stay Wake - Stay Grimes - Stay Vernon - Stay Jordan - Stay Delmas - GO R. Jones - Stay B. Gibson - GO C. Sturgis - GO-FAR FAR AWAY! R. Matthews - Stay Wallace - Go Clay- Stay Sims - Stay Miller - Stay Hartline - Undecided Tannehill - Stay Lazor - Stay Coyle - GO Philbin - Undecided...Depends on who he would be replaced with...Don't wish for something, because you just might get it, and I fear the replacement could potentially be ALOT worse.
Odrick - Stay Wake - Indifferent, for right price could be gone. Grimes - Stay Vernon - Stay Jordan - Stay Delmas - Go R. Jones - Stay B. Gibson - Go C. Sturgis - Bring in Competition R. Matthews - Stay Wallace - Indifferent, Go if Replaced Clay - Try to Resign Sims - Stay Miller - Stay Hartline - Replace Him Tannehill - Stay Lazor - Indifferent depending on Next Staff Coyle - GTFO Philbin - GTFO
To me constant mediocrity with no playoffs is every bit as bad as winning just 2 games. Even if the next coach we hire has a chance to take us to 3-13, he could also potentially take us to 13-3. Philbin IS OUT. He damn well better be.
That's an interesting view. I can at least appreciate someone who just comes out and says it like that. To me though, more wins is just the most obvious and simple way to claim improvement. What if you had the same record against better competition for example? That's obviously improvement, too. I think the issue a lot people have is that we're attempting to go through multiple phases. Phase 1 is going from a mediocre team that is led by the defense to a mediocre team that is led by the offense. Phase 2 will see the improvement of that mediocre offensive towards something that is more impressive. I think the lack of phase 2 development has been what's kept Miami transitioning back and forth while remaining mediocre. So in a weird way, it's almost as though the failure to accept mediocrity as a part of the growing process has been one of Miami's downfalls.
Yeah. Get rid of Tannehill. Ok. Pretty sure that Top 10 Defense blew 3 games at the end where the Dolphins had the lead, but yeah, **** Tannehill, he sucks. As much as this team is a nightmare and drives me nuts, I sometimes think they don't deserve some of these fans.
Sturgis- GO Wallace- GO Irrational fans- GO
I'm not saying I want to take the chance of keep having bad seasons. The next coach has 2 seasons to get this team to the playoffs, if not his *** is fired too. This team has a lot of talent. Basically I'm saying the next coach better take this team to the playoffs or he's already on the Hot seat. Of course I don't wanna settle for consistent low win seasons lol. You don't think someone out there thinks Hartline is worth a 3rd round pick? Maybe I'm wishful thinking.
Odrick - Go - always said he's JAG Wake - Stay but would draft a DE early Grimes - why is his name on the list? Vernon - see Wake Jordan - Stay - try him exclusively at LB(he's not a DE) if he doesn't flash trade him Delmas - Go - was an injury concern before, remains one R. Jones - Go - trade. too many poor angles B. Gibson - Stay - cheaper & better than Hartline C. Sturgis - couldn't cut him fast enough R. Matthews - Go - might have some knucklehead in him, not talented enough to warrant Wallace - Go - would trade this body-catcher in a heartbeat. Clay - Stay but draft an athletic seam busting TE Sims - Stay - he's improving Miller - see Sims Hartline - Go - see Gibson Tannehill - Stay but draft a qb no later than the 3rd & once he throughly beats out THill trade Ryan for no worse than 2nd. Or position switch(yup I said it) Lazor - Depends - I have a problem with not allowing your qb to aud1ble. Now if it's b/c Lazor doesn't trust THill and it's not a staple of Bill's offense then fine Stay. Coyle - Go - No more on the job training coaches. We need an experienced DC who knows how to adjust Philbin - Go back to GB, I'm sure they've accumulated their fare share of wrappers on their practice fields.
I No chance... At best we get a fifth for Hartline and I would definitely take it right away, hes useless to us. Sure he might play good in another team but to us he does nothing.
I'll Play Odrick Stay Wake Stay Grimes Stay Vernon Stay Jordan Go Delmas Stay R. Jones Stay B. Gibson Go C. Sturgis Stay R. Matthews Stay Wallace Go Clay Stay Sims Stay Miller Go Hartline Stay Tannehill Stay Lazor Stay Coyle Go Philbin Go
