with all the finger pointing and lying going on, i don't understand why somebody isn't in jail yet. i mean lying to a grand jury has got to be a crime punishable by a fine or jail time. its almost got to the point of being funny. and now the government is involved, with the way things are right now, is there any reason we need more of a drain on the taxpayer?
Well, Miguel(sp.) Tejada has been charged with lying to the congressional congress. He should see atleast a fine (Woopity doo). He lied to the Houston Astros about his age! He said he was 31.... Really, he's like 34-35! Lying piece of garbage can barely speak English, yet an American outfit MADE him a millionaire! ( Has made $70 million in MLB pay thus far )
I find it amusing that we make a huge deal about steroids in MLB, but dismiss it in the NFL. We all know it goes on.
I have friends in the industry and yes I have used anabolic steriods before and likely will again. There is a huge number of NFL players who are on steriods or more likely HGH. There are quite a few Dolphins who I really think were or are on hgh. Some people are too fanatical to realize this but it is the facts. Infact one of the more obvious ones was an all pro MLB who was a star for the Dolphins this past decade. Actually if you have been around it and know what to look for it is quite easy to tell who is on it for sure. There are some side effects that cant be covered up with a masking agent.
what i find amusing is as wide spread the usage is, the government thinks they have to get involved in the outcome of the investigation.
Well the problem is MLB MADE congress get involved. Selig is incompitent to handle internal problems apparently. The NFL was faced with this issue a few yrs back and took steps to keep congress out of their affairs and handle it themselves.
Just another reason why the NFL has become dominant among american sports, it is operated better than any other sport by far.
