i dunno... it wasn't as fun as i'd hoped. I like MK vs DC much better. I was actually very bored.
-
I got the beautiful email from Gamefly today. Its always nice when they send me a game in my top 5.
-
Its a very cool game. Very classic and hardcore to the bone. The art style is awesome, i love that. I'd rather a game stick to 2-d and do it well like this than make the move to 3-d and do it sub par.
I'd still rather play Soul Caliber over anything else though. -
I loved playing it last night, i think the new 3D was done well, the cut sceens are short and not very informative. I ended up winning 5 of 13 matches online which is better then I thought i would do, guess alot on new people were on. I do like how you can set it to accept challanges while you are playing in arcade mode, reminds me of when some one would drop in on you at the arcade. If your a fan of this series you'll love it, if not I would rent it first and see how it suits you.

I love this game. Street Fighter has always been my favorite fighting game, and this is the best Street Fighter ever!
I just wish Rolento would've been included... -
First hint of DLC?
February 18, 2009 - The two major Street Fighter characters missing from Street Fighter IV may not be so missing after all. In an interview today, SFIV producer said that Capcom managed to put some development time into SFIV renditions of Super Street Fighter II characters Dee Jay and T.Hawk, and may even consider putting them in the game if there's enough of a ruckus amongst the fans.
Speaking with Japan's Weekly Famitsu, Yoshinori Ono revealed that incomplete 3D models for the two characters have already been created. The development staff even planned out how T.Hawk would fight in the new SFIV world. He did not say why the two were kept out of the final.
Fans of T.Hawk and Dee Jay should still keep the hope alive. Ono said that if there's enough demand, the two could be in for a revival at any point. He didn't specify how, but we can picture an arcade update followed by download content for the home versions (free, of course!).

I spent a little more time with this on the weekend... Here's what i've come up with:
1. Sagat is no joke, he's starting to be my favorite character to play
2. It feels much easier on Normal setting than SF2
3. Item #2 above is true until you reach Seth (the last boss)
4. Seth is the cheapest bastard on planet video game
5. Seth can beat you at will when ever he wants
6. Seth has abdomen muscles growing on his chest
7. I still have not beaten Seth
8. Seth drove me to play FEAR2 (which I'm liking a lot) -
The only way to beat the game with everyone is to play on the 'easiest' level and play 1 round battles. (That or, ya know, be mad nice at the game...) -
I like the game....
However I hate Seth... with a passion. This game really brought me back to when I was a kid playing SF2... which also brought back abnormal amounts of aggression...
Seth is a bastard, I'll leave it at that. -
Im getting Old and my hands cant take more than 30 minutes of this game...Seth gave me some Probs with Ryu/Ken but with Sagat I perfected him then Ultimate finished him first fight :).
and let me tell ya it was pretty damn satisfying after the frustration with Ken/Ryu. -
I'm glad you guys had problems with Seth (no offense). I was afraid I'd get slammed for sucking. lol
-
Seth is quite the cheeser, especially if you beat him the first round, I think i am probably 5-75 against Seth -
really frustrating... I still haven't beaten him. The first round is like a teasing gimme.
-
-
I have unlocked all the regular characters, now comes the fun of trying to unlock the last three......
-

Who has the best ultra? Sagat's is pretty awesome and takes over half of the life bar if the ultra is full power. However, i feel as if it can be countered easily. Zangeiff's is good as well but you have to be right next to the other player.
I'm only good with Sagat, Zangeif, and Bison and this is only on medium -
Found this on IGN message boards

Big E likes this. -
wow!
-
Yeah my eyes crossed and brain hemoriged a bit on reading that. -
maybe it's because I suck at the game... But this doesn't even seem possible to me lol
-
I think i could meet the requirements but I don't know if I could beat Seth without using continues. -
I played over 20 ranked matches last night.........
*cough* I won 1*cough* -
woot!! 1 more than i would have lol

Hopefully they nerf the over powered characters soon.

I actually won 3 ranked games last night, and I beat arcade mode on medium difficulty playing 3 rounds with 99 timer. It took me about 10 matches to beat seth, but he eventually let me beat him. I would always beat him the first round, but the next two he would teleport, uppercut and bellysuck the hell out of me.
-
That Belly Suck move is the cheapest POS move ever! Can't F**KING BLOCK IT!!!!
-
Amen, in one match I had just about to connect with my Ultra when he magically cancels mine and does the belly suck. -
I wish this game would be released on PS2
-
I'm going to pick this game up after I get bored of Killzone 2.
-
Has anybody picked up the special controller?
-
I picked up the tournament fight stick. -
Just wanted to add something in here. I unlocked Seth yesterday. Turns out when another players using him, you can block the belly suck move like any other attack.
WTF IS THAT. -
it's called typical CPU cheese. The Street Fighter series is known for it. I hate that bull.
