Love this. Steelers Shazier says the league has a Patriots problem. Suh just laughs and says the Pats are as beatable as anyone.

We need the whole league to declare it open season on the Pats and all 10 non AFCE opponents to play them like a division rival. They play a lot of tough games this year and everyone wants to knock them off. They start off against a very hungry and ticked off KC, then have Brees and AP on Monday night followed by Houston's D with Watt back and healthy then they have the Bucs who are very hungry, a layup game against the hapless Jets then Carolina then Atlanta who will be hungry for some quasi-redemption. After that are the Chargers then in three weeks they have Denver's D then Oakland then us. Hopefully by this point they are on the ropes a little etc.
I think this will be our year to take the Division from them. They are the champs and just looked like world beaters in their last game. But, I think enough is enough. We will at least split with them and hopefully the other teams can do their part.
Dolphins rise up in '17!

As you all know, I've expressed my concern over our first 5 games:
Home vs Tampa Bay
Away vs LA Chargers
Away vs NY Jets
Away vs New Orleans (London)
Home vs Tennessee
That's a lot of miles, a lot of different time zones and for anyone who has traveled before, you know the toll jet lag takes on the body. So I decided to look at the Patriots schedule and what did I discover?
Home vs Kansas City (EDT)
Away vs New Orleans (CDT)
Home vs Houston (EDT)
Home vs Carolina (EDT)
Away vs Tampa Bay (EDT)
Away vs NY Jets (EDT)
Home vs Atlanta (EDT)
Home vs LA Chargers (EDT)
Away vs Denver (MDT)
The Denver game is the first game in which the Patriots actually have to TRAVEL and cross significant time zones. It's as if the NFL has set up the Patriots schedule for success, keeping them within their own time zone (save New Orleans) and prevent them from suffering jet lag. -

Everyone is beatable assuming you score more points than them. :tongue2:
Seriously though, they're beatable, you've just got to amass the talent, develop it properly, plan well against them, play well against them and hold yourselves accountable to be as good as them at executing the system, and being disciplined.
I don't think we're there yet to knock them off the top of the division, but I think we can, and should split with them this year at least. If we take care of our own business against the rest of the division we'll be fine. -
I think you need a second cup of coffee my friend lol. -

I have been waiting for the Brady demise in skill for about 5 seasons now. For the 10-11 years without a Super Bowl, I thought it was the year they won the SB that he would contemplate retirement (before the year began). But he has had a re-birth since then. Waiting for a +40 year old, who is considered the best in the NFL, is mind-blowing, when we have our qb and WR's and RB's all in their prime. It shows you how important having the qb is, and really nothing else matters. a unit with 21 other players (not including ST) can be masked by having that guy. so to me, RT has to play and beat head-to-head Brady to have a chance. we have the skilled players. can the line hold up?

I'm merely saying that for a football player...whether on the road or at home, you literally wake up, eat, practice, play the game and go to sleep at relatively the same time week after week, you're set up for success as the Patriots are, where with us? Trust me when I tell you, jet lag is a BIOTH!!!!!! Can't sleep, can't wake up, can't eat, can't sheit
Like I've said, if we can come out of this first 5 game stretch at 3-2, I'll feel confident for the rest of the season. -
Suh is right, their time is coming to an end soon enough, why not this season.

do you think its a positive thing from a mental standpoint to say out loud you can beat a team?, does it help the psyche of the overall team to talk out loud that you can beat an opponent that you haven't really matched up well with recently?

Gase is rubbing off on them, but they should keep this in the locker room

I feel like that the Pats thrive on this sort of thing. This is BB material that Belicheat will remind the players of when they play the Dolphins. Their team use this as motivation and the last thing anyone needs is a motivated Pats team. If the Dolphins are quiet and act on this instead of just blustering about it, that would be so much better.

I think what the Pats do better than anyone is prepare for opponents and take away their biggest weapons. While I won't get into the debate over whether or not they do it fairly (or legally), it's hard to doubt their scouting talent and getting players ready for big teams. I think that's why Miami is such a problem for them- we have so many different ways to beat you on offense. Our defense has stunk recently and that's been the game-plan....just outscore us since it's easy to do for them. But I think it will be a different tune in 2017 entirely.

If you think about it, no one has any room to say anything to them..but, if like some here say, talking like we can is a physchaitric advantage then ok, I'm in... -
