Hmm.. Thats a pretty stupid statement. It seems to me if we didn't draft a QB and sign a veteran free agent, we would have only had 1 QB with starting capabilities on our roster. Beck may very well not be the future, but not because we got 2 other QBs. I think if they/we were really scared about Becks abilities, we would have taken Henne with our first 2nd round pick, or Ryan with the #1. I'm glad we didn't on both counts. Even though I'm rooting for Beck, I'm not too upset that we got Henne with the 2nd 2nd round pick. It was a great value and we needed 1 more QB at that point.
seriously.....just because beck might be the QB of the future....doesnt mean he will win RIGHT NOW....we need depth, and they got us depth, beck will welcome the competition, and it will in the long run imo make him a better QB.
