What up homies.. Ravens vrs Texans..First game Look closely what a real stadium looks and feels right in this game..Ravens are extremely tough in that place.. Watch out for two baaaad men..Suggs and Lewis..Suggs has been imo the best 34 outside backer in the game..and Lewis, the greatest of all time.. Ed Reed and Ray Lewis..2 hall of fame football players from the U. I just love that stadium and fanbase, they know how to cheer..and they will not sit..
Yeah M&T Bank Stadium is a good one and it's got an excellent location right in the city. I don't think the Texans have much of a chance and the hostile atmosphere won't help them. I only wish the Pats would have to come here next weekend. The Ravens are our last hope to not have to see Brady in another Super Bowl.
That stadium 79 is just off the charts incredible, built beautifully, the players and fans talk about the advantage and how to cheer, all the time, its becoming a science with them. Misdirection is smart to use.
Two possessions, both set off by ST play, see it already today, saw it all day in the SF game. Jones made a mistake, Manning had a nice return.
Texans better get a stop here or this can get out of hand early. You dont want to become one dimensional vs Baltimore's D
Jason Allen just got beat on that TD. I have no idea why anybody thinks Houston will win this game. They couldn't beat Baltimore when Matt Schaub was their QB.
The Dolphins have never beaten Houston Texans and the Texans have never beaten the Ravens. Thought it being interesting.
I think the main reason I want the ravens to win this game is cause they stand a better chance to beat the cheatriots
This is why it has to be Baltimore. Do you really want two weeks of nothing but Tom Brady coverage leading up to the Super Bowl?
Foster is handling this Raven D like a BOSS. The first time they played Foster had 49 yards. Hes well over 80 now in the 2nd quarter
Great drive by Houston...we got a game here fellas. But Yates HAS to stop making dumb throws. hes lucky to have only thrown 1 INT, he should have thrown at least 4.
Houston is making a game of this. When it comes down to it I guess I just believe Baltimore is much more likely to make the deciding play late in the game. We'll see. If Baltimore blows this I may have to go check the nearest bridges for jumpers.
I picked the Texans before the game. The Ravens are my son's second favorite team so it's an in house battle. LOL My reasoning is that I have more faith in Foster and that zone rushing scheme being able to adjust than I have in the Ravens D being able to stop that run again. I think that neither Flacco or Yates has shown themselves to be elite so unless that changes this game will come down to non-QB factors.
Any QB can make a difference. Ask Alex Smith. These QBs are not elite so they mean nothing in this game? I don't buy that. I'll still take the team that is in it's fourth consecutive postseason appearance with a nice mix of youth and veteran players. You and everybody else probably assumed SF could not beat New Orleans yesterday because they didn't have an elite QB. I thought that too. It was wrong.
Smith made plays when things broke down. Those were elite QB plays. Flacco and Yates haven't done much of that. People don't get that distinction. They look at TD passes or other stats. Those don't matter as much as what a QB does when things break down. That is part of why Tebow and Smith won games when the "experts" couldnt understand it. In this game and in SF, turnovers are a factor. Smith made plays, but he also had a little cushion with the turnovers. I'm sure most felt NO would win in large part do to Bree's, but if you told people that NO would have four TOs I would bet that most of those would have switched their opinion. In this game the Ravens should be way ahead with their TO advantage and they would be if Flacco could have made some plays in the face of hat rush, but he hasn't and they're not. So with no elite QBplay the game is coming down to the other non-QB factors.
