@MiamiDolphins Congrats to Boca Raton's Ava Shmueli, who represented the Dolphins at the national Punt, Pass & Kick competition and won her age group!! Well at least someone in a Dolphins jersey made it onto a football field this late into January for the first time in over a decade wooo, fins up baby
odd that CBS didn't run one replay of that review until the very end... cleary wasn't a first down... now if Jacoby Jones can ultimately redeem himself here?
wow, this houston d has time and time again made plays. How big does that non-FG attempt loom at the 1 inch line? If he kicks that this game is done.
Texans should be proud... lost by seven... turned the ball over three times. -3 in the turnover diff... still in it at the end. TJ Yates will not supplant Schaub. Not next year anyway.
Its gonna take a great effort from that D. Balt's offense looked awful today. Part of that is because Houston D played great but they also didnt play well.
Give Houston's D credit. New England's D won't be able to replicate that. Houston came to play today no doubt about it. They clearly weren't in 'just happy to be here' mode.
Three picks and it could have been five or six easily. The fact they were still in it is a testament to the game their defense played today.
If I was New England I would have been more afraid of that Houston D, but luckily now they only have to contain Cam and Flacco led offense
Yes they do. New England is not unbeatable, I don't know why everybody wants to jump all over their jocks just because they trounced a Denver team that is not really all that good. Can New England take Ray Rice out of the game the way Houston did today? I doubt it.
Flacco was aweful today... absolutely aweful. He can make throws downfield, with touch. But anything that requires velocity and accuracy, it's behind the receiver. If the Texans force one turnover, I think they win. Unfortunately, every time the ball was on the ground the Ravens luckily picked it up (except for the last fumble).
I think NE should be the overwhelming favorite. The Ravens limited on offense in a passing league. Short of another huge turnover differential, NE should win.
Houston had plenty of lucky breaks. Three dropped picks and an Arian Foster fumble late that they recovered. It took an unspectacular game from Baltimore and a hell of a Houston defensive performance for them to even have a shot in this one. Baltimore is a vastly superior team to Houston and the only team in the AFC field that ever had a shot at challenging New England. I'm used to the media jumping all over New England's jock at the first opportunity but I'm surprised people here are doing it. It was only two seasons ago that an underdog Baltimore team went up to New England and took them out in the postseason. Flacco was QB then too I've heard.
That Ravens team was better IMO... especially defensively. Looks like Ed Reed won't play, based on him having to be carried off the field. Ravens will have to play a perfect game to win. I just don't see it.
Big first down early. NYG gonna have to be on their game all day today. They got stopped on the first two runs and you dont wanna go 3 and out early on GB
It's not so much about NE, but rather a lack of belief in B'more. Until Flacco shows he can be an elite QB, they're a longshot to ever win a SB.
NYG were dead last in rushing this year. I know they mauled the falcons last week but they have to duplicate that today and get over 150 on the ground to control the clock. Wanna get at least 33-34 minutes of TOP and keep it out of GB's hands.
something to keep in mind: Last time Tynes was on this field in 2008, he missed 2 4th quarter FG's before he made the OT kick. The winds played a factor and he doesnt have a great leg though accurate inside of 40. Last time though he missed one from I believe 33.
