By early indications and weather reports there will be a huge storm coming up the East coast on Sunday, it could drop over a foot of snow on NE or be a nasty wintry mix with very high winds. The track is still uncertain but there will be a very nasty storm and now the question becomes will NE pull out the win witout being able to throw the ball 35+ times? This will be the first real chance to see how NE plays in the bad weather, I do know if this happens that they will not come close to covering the 27 point spread and their running game will be put to the test.

They will still win. They're playing the Jets and have a chip on their shoulders. They want revenge against Mangini for losing their 1st rounder. Between Maroney, Faulk, Evans, and Eckel they will muster up a decent enough run game. I don't know if they'll cover the spread but they will win big.

The number was never 27. I've seen that posted on many sites and I have no idea where it came from. Maybe Danny Sheridan or some other tout claimed it would be 27.
The typical spread since Sunday night was 24 to 24.5. The Hilton had 25 for a while. Last night I scrambled to take 24.5 and under 50.5 when a friend informed me of the big storm.
Today the line has dropped to -23 in most places, and the total has plummeted several points to 47. -
