An NFL official confirmed the league would not issue any rulings Tuesday, an ideal day to announce suspensions. If suspensions don’t come Tuesday, they usually wait until the next week — if they come at all.

slickj101Forum VeteranI doubt it. Patriots don't get suspended unless they directly violate a clear rule. Harrison using HGH, Faulk getting caught with weed, etc. Any issue that has flex or allows room for Goodell to use his own discrecretion is obviously going to end well for NE.
Of course that's assuming that the tape of the fight hasn't been destroyed yet...

Not to mention the timing.
NO WAY he suspends Lighte for the Epic matchup with the Steelers..if it were the Lions, Chiefs, Bengals or Rams then yeah, he would get it out of the way.
