I doubt it. Patriots don't get suspended unless they directly violate a clear rule. Harrison using HGH, Faulk getting caught with weed, etc. Any issue that has flex or allows room for Goodell to use his own discrecretion is obviously going to end well for NE.

Of course that's assuming that the tape of the fight hasn't been destroyed yet...

 

Not to mention the timing.
NO WAY he suspends Lighte for the Epic matchup with the Steelers..if it were the Lions, Chiefs, Bengals or Rams then yeah, he would get it out of the way.

Yes of course. No one would want the Pats to be disadvantaged against the Steelers now would we. Anything they can do to edge out other contenders for the wildcard spot is just so the NFL way...Goodell must have this major hard on for the Pats or something.
