Tagged/Tendered Player Bidding

Teams will have 23 hours (thanks to DST) to place bids on players who were given the non-exclusive franchise tag and the transition tag as well as RFAs who were tendered at any level. This will be done in an eBay style format where at the end of the 23 hours, the highest bid will be given to that player's respective team and he will decide whether to match the offer or accept compensation. Your bid must be higher than what the respective tag/tender they received. Standard bid increment rules apply and this thread will close at exactly 12:01AM EST on March 11th, 2013. The Minnesota Vikings have chosen not to match the Bills' offer of $16,000,000.00 on Phil Loadholt. Because he was given the transition tag, no compensation will be awarded. Phil Loadholt is officially on the Bills roster.

 

The Baltimore Ravens have chosen not to match the Cardinals' offer of $5,300,000.00 on Dennis Pitta. Because he was tendered at a second round level, the Cardinals' second round pick (2.038) will be awarded to the Ravens. Dennis Pitta is officially on the Cardinals roster.

 

The New Orleans Saints have chosen to match the Rams' offer of $2,800,000.00 on Junior Galette.
