Dude is going to KILL Matt Moore. Did you see him last night?!?!?!!? Oh jeez.

Last night, against Marcus McNeill, he had 2 sacks, a forced fumble, and caused McNeill to have 4 false starts, a holding call, and an illegal hands to the face. If they line him up against Colombo, its JP Losman time! Maybe even Pat Delvin time. Oh well, it will likely bring us closer to Andrew Luck time!!!

And you know what. Tamba was drafted by that guy that many Dolphins fans feel ran Kansas City into the ground. You know, the guy who supposedly has let the game pass him by and can't draft anymore drafted most of the key players on this KC Chiefs team - Tamba Hali, Dwayne Bowe, Jamal Charles (injured), Brandon Flowers, Branden Albert...etc. I'm still amazed that there are so many who are against Miami hiring Carl Peterson in a decision making capacity. These same fans were all over themselves when Bill Parcells was hired, and Carl has a much better track record as a team builder, roster builder, and talent evaluator.

Didn't realize CP was still around for some of those draft picks. My only concern would be that he tended to pickup vet QBs rather than develop draft picks. at least, I can't recall any Chiefs rookie QBs that were developed.

To be fair, he also hired Herm Edwards as head coach.

Hiring Herm was a bad idea. Hiring Gunther Cunningham was an even worse idea. I don't think Carl Peterson could resist with Herm Edwards hiring a guy that he had once hired onto his front office staff as a scout. Herm was hired by Peterson to be a scout in 1990, but by 1992 he moved over to coaching defensive backs for a long time with the Chiefs. It was one of those almost University type hires where you see in college these teams always want to hire a guy that played or coached at the University before because they want to make sure he's got that University's spirit within him or whatever the hell mickey mouse bull **** they're looking for.

To make things worse he not only hired Edwards but traded for him to do so.

I watched that game last night and Hali was amazing. Never mind Colombo having problems, with Jake Long in the condition he is in, Long will struggle. it's going to be another long day for Moore.

I was skeptical about KCs trade (I think it was a Carl Peterson trade) for Matt Cassell but last night the guy was ballin. He was tearing the Chargers apart and I see the him doing the same with the way this Dolphins defense is playing.

    Pioli traded for Cassell.

And while some want to bring up Cunningham and Edwards as coaching hires, I will bring up Marty Schottenheimer and Dick Vermiel.

Wasn't just Jake. The entire team all of a sudden started doing what they were supposed to. It has to be an exorcism.

Its not about playing a bad team or a good team. They just finished a game after playing all 4 quarters (for a change), executed, took out stupid mistakes (for the most part) etc. The team as a whole played up to its potential - in terms of play calling /scheming and execution alike.

If they did this every week I could live with the record. The frustrating part was that they didn't.
