Tampa Adds Two to Coaching Staff TAMPA BAY, Florida (AP) --The Bucanneers have made a pair of coordinator moves mere days after the hiring of new GM Vengeful Odin. On Offense, the Bucs have added Norv Turner to the coaching staff as their Offensive Coordinator. Turner is expected to help further the development of second year signal caller Josh Freeman. Turner was rumored to be considering offers from both Dallas and Chicago, but ended up deciding on Tampa Bay. Defensively, the Bucs are continuing their youth movement with the hiring of Darren Perry, most recently the secondary coach for the Green Bay Packers. Perry has been critical to the success of a number of players, including Troy Polomalu, Nnamdi Asomugha, and 2009 Defensive Player of the Year Charles Woodson. Head Coach Raheem Morris is expected to continue to be very active in game planning, particularly on the defensive side of the ball. Morris called the moves "pieces to the puzzle" but noted that the Bucs "have a lot of work still left to do." The Bucs certainly have the firepower to do so, with the #3 overall pick in April's draft and one of the better salary cap situations in the NFL. Source: SI.com
Darren Perry is a helluva hire. He wasn't at the top of my list (obviously) but he was on it. Him and Kevin Coyle. Perry also did a good job with Tramon Williams.
Your OC and DC are more qualified to be HC than your HC. Will this eventually split the team? Will Norv punch Raheem the Dream and break his jaw after they lose 10 straight?
I love it when everyone is oakland the first thing they do is fire al davis how you fire an owner is beyond me, but dunno much about those coaches, but if one helped nnamdi and woodson then wow.
because in the GM league, a general manager doesn't simply control the roster. we control life and death.
