This does show the potential for some exciting TD passes! Perhaps Tannehill & Wallace can be the answer to what was the Patriots' Brady to Moss!
I'm REALLY excited for this upcoming season! :up:Fin-Omenal likes this. -

The point is, there simply weren't too many folks in this regime when those two got here who's opinion really is worth anything...I mean, could Ireland's secretary been the 'source' ?? Seriously, we'll all see soon enough, but that's a bit of a stretch... Even if the 'source' was one of the football people, in shorts and underwear how much can you tell with DBs ??
I'm anxious for things to get under way, like most anyone following football is, and there's always excitement and expectations this time of year with every team every year... It's still nice to hear positive things....
On the flip side, when was the last time you heard anyone say that player X didn't do well in the ROOKIE minicamp ?? -
So, do I only post about 1/2 here?

“He’s becoming a leader,” receiver Brian Tyms said. “He would take us into the bubble [throughout March], for an hour and a half or so every day, and we would go through our route tree. He works like hasn’t made it yet.”

Vontae Davis and Sean Smith were and still are extremely immature.
It's entirely possible both of these rookies take their jobs much more seriously than Sean Smith or Vontae Davis ever did as rookies. That could be what they mean by more polished.
Maybe these guys are fundamentally more sound, whereas Vontae and Smith were drafted higher because of their size, metrics, and potential athletic abilityUnlucky 13, cuchulainn, rafael and 2 others like this. -
Score touchdowns, defend passes, hold onto interceptions, when it counts. Do these things, and I'll be a happy fan. After the recent dry spell, let's just say its hard for me to "get it up" over anything that doesn't happen on Sunday.

I'm excited. I can't help it. But there's this little pessimistic devil on one shoulder saying, "You were excited about Henne and Marshall, remember that?" I flicked him in the dick and he fell off, so it's cool.

Because there is a lot of variables outside the QBs control that affect the "drops, spikes, batted passes and throwaways". They took them away from all of the QBs, so it's not like they gave Tannehill a pass on this, they did it for all the QBs.Fin D likes this. -
Smith we shared the same, I never liked him or his game...briefly at last camp I saw the changes he made on his body and he was better in coverage, but he was all show and no substance..so glad he's gone.
Still would take VD in a heartbeat over smith.cuchulainn likes this. -
Agreed, but I think Tannehill was picked on for this too much following the Texans game. JJ Watts is a phenom and makes a lot of guys look stupid.
Tannehill does need to work on the batted passes and his footwork, but I don't think the batted passes was issue that a lot of people made it into. If he still has a high number of batted passes this season, then I'll worry.Unlucky 13 likes this.
