Dude, get over yourself. I said Brock got the ball in the hands of his playmakers and then you spun as I said he was “incredible” your words not mine. You came looking for a fight and instead I laughed because you made **** up. Just because you write 10 paraphraphs in every one of your posts doesn’t mean you’re the best Fin fan around here or the smartest.

And if Thill would’ve gotten the ball in his playmakers hands as much as Brock did he would’ve had a 380 yard game. But he didn’t. Same pathetic pocket awareness. Stop already it’s embarrassing watching you try and spin this crap.

Your doubts are way off base. I doubt you can even post a quality post. All I see is your pathetic drivel slamming others who don’t agree with you. Fine, you’re blocked.....TROLL

Yes, and you said everyone else is ignorant for talking about BO's stats being padded by WR's. I never said that you said he was incredible, I said "Not trying to take anything away from Brock, he played well, but to act like he's incredible, and people are being "ignorant" and bashing him or whatever... it's just as ridiculous." I'm speaking in general about your initial statement, and the attitudes of others, in this thread and others talking as crazy as making him the fulltime starter, and I even said... Not trying to take anything away from him, so I'm agreeing with the fact he performed to my liking... but the end result of those stats being nitpicked is exactly that they were padded by 200+ RAC yards. That's a fact, and it wasn't BO catching his pass and running with it. Or throwing guys open in tight windows. He threw the ball less than 5 yards past the LOS on a WR screen, and a dump off on a crossing route about 4 yards past the LOS, and Wilson did the rest. I'm making my point in disagreeing with your opinion, by pointing out to you exactly the fact that they were, and you don't like it. Now you're carrying on trying to make this about one QB over another by saying all Tannehill does is throw under 5 yards. Which I've pointed out to you is essentially the same thing BO did on Sunday, yet I'm the one spinning something?

Don't you see where you're logic is off the rails here? Unfortunately, your inability to understand is exactly why I have to write so much. You don't get it. You're wanting to give credit to one QB because a WR made some big plays after catches that were within 5 yards of the LOS, while bashing another. Yes, I said there's no need to think he had an incredible game here, because thats how people are acting based on the outcome of the game, and 380 yards. Too quickly we give all the credit, and blame to QB's. That's the nature of football.

Oh I should have known better that would be your response... You are hopeless. Tannehill throws the exact same passes under 5 yards every week. They're for the most part complete... to the same players, but he's not getting it into their hands? Okk...

Nobody is making any thing up here but you, and I've pointed out more than enough to illustrate that to you and the fact this is your reply, is proof enough that I won't miss you. The fact here we're debating initially were the stats, which you can't acknowledge, and instead want to say it's because of BO or RT, and you're wrong, but clearly you're not capable of comprehending, just baiting and arguing for no apparent reason. Those stats are certainly that high because of that. There's plenty that BO did better, you're right, pocket presence especially, but it's just not a contributing factor on these plays that lead to the padded stats. I'm really not sure how to make that clearer for you, so... lets just move on.

"...What does seem certain is the AC joint injury Tannehill reportedly suffered in Week 3 has nothing to do with his being inactive Sunday.

This is the play that Adam Gase believes Ryan Tannehill hurt his shoulder.

By video, in the Dolphins’ Week 4 loss to Cincinnati, Tannehill appears to strain his rotator cuff or stretch his capsule as him arm is stopped from going forward.

It is unlikely that he suffered structural damage in the form of a complete tear, but it is a soreness and effectiveness issue – and I can’t rule out a partial tear.

These potential injuries are unpredictable and would likely require a longer recovery than an AC joint issue, which is predictable.

I’m not saying this is the same severity as Andrew Luck, but the Colts quarterback tried to play through a posterior labral tear for 1½ years before undergoing surgery.

Throwing is one of the hardest things we ask our shoulder to do, and there are a wide range of possibilities for return.

At this point, the Dolphins seem to be on the path of rest and rehab. The hope is Tannehill will be back soon, but there is no guarantee it will be this Sunday."

Put him at wide receiver. We could actually use a good 6’4” receiver. Brock can qb good enough for this year. Then draft a stud college qb.

NOW it’s time to look for the heir apparent to Tannehill, not because he “sucks” or “he’s a bust”. Ryan has played well, doing what we asked him to do, with what we had, but with this shoulder injury, along with him missing all of last year with his knee...his playing days are numbered.

I don’t follow college football closely enough to offer an opinion on any QBs getting ready to enter the draft but if there is one out there, it’s time to start giving him a look

    So CAL
last year was the year to get a qb, this yr its going to be filled with dual threats and hyped up qbs, the talent this year is nowhere near last years, we might need to stick with RT for another year or try trading etc. i just haven't seen a qb in college that wows besides alabamas qb, but its hard to predict an alabama qb because the talent they have is so unmatched, but still time to play it out.

Every year i hear how bad the new crop of quarterbacks coming out of college are. Just to see goff. Baker. Wentz. Etc. throwing darts and playing good. I swear darnold looked better than tannehill already. I wish tannehill could of panned out. But it feels like it’s time to move on?

Of course it's time to move on and try and find another option. We saw alot of the same bad habits of his that we've always seen this year. Add to that, we missed a partial year with him, a full year, and now what appears may be a good piece of this year, with an injury to his throwing shoulder. It's time. I dont think he's done here just yet, but it's just time to find the next one.

Excuses? Our offense had more TD's under Brock than any game this season, had more first downs, and drove more total yards in an awesome comeback win. How exactly is that an excuse for anything? Did you forget the Cincinnati game already about how our starting QB handled that same adversity?

Nobody here is saying that Osweiler is better than Tannehill overall. But just about everybody is saying that he's better pre-snap, better in the pocket and better moving through his progressions. He's also more accurate on those anticipation throws, which is exactly what a spread offense needs in a QB when they throw lots of short passes.

This isn't a testament to Brock's greatness at all- it's a testament to how poorly Tannehill has ran this offense with great talent all around him. We are 4-2 thanks to players like Wilson, Grant, Jones, Howard, Kiko, Gore, etc. This is certainly not the year of the quarterback in Miami by any means, but so far Brock has been the better QB for this offense.

No excuses here- it's just a simple fact.

And sure, we can say it's only one game. We can also say that Osweiler's doom is surely on the horizon as he reverts to a bad player. But what about Tannehill's 5 games in an anemic offense that's only won due to huge plays and turnovers? For now, I'll take the guy that's 1-0 and playing with confidence. If he crashes and burns then so be it...but today he's my guy.

    From ESPN's Cam Wolfe:

    http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...rback-ryan-tannehill-ruled-game-detroit-lions

"Tannehill faces an uphill challenge to play next Thursday at the Houston Texans, and it is likely Osweiler will start that game as well, a source told ESPN.

Gase said Thursday that surgery is not an option for Tannehill, and the Dolphins (4-2) plan to rest him until he is ready to throw and is able to react to the stresses of throwing.

"He could throw tomorrow if he wanted to," Gase said. "He probably wouldn't feel very good."...

Tannehill practiced on a limited basis Thursday. He did not throw, but went through handoff and light ball security drills. On Wednesday, he worked on footwork and handed the football off with his right (throwing) arm.

"Anything that has to do with pocket movement, footwork, things like that, he can do everything," Gase said Wednesday. "He just can't throw."

Gase said Monday he was "not sure" whether Tannehill faces a long-term injury, but he said he has complete confidence that the 30-year-old quarterback will play again in 2018. When asked about Tannehill's situation, Gase quickly interjected, "Yes, he will be the starter" when he's healthy."...

Gase said Monday he believes Tannehill injured his right shoulder during a Week 5 loss, on a fourth-quarter forced fumble by Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Carlos Dunlap. Tannehill's arm was hit awkwardly from behind before he completed his throwing motion, and he was on the ground for a few moments after the play.

The NFL policy says this about injury reporting: "The policy requires that teams provide credible, accurate and specific information about injured players to the league office, their opponents, local and national media, and the league's broadcast partners each week during the regular season and postseason. The reporting process is of paramount importance in maintaining the integrity of the game."

It also refers directly to the practice and game status reports, which must provide clubs and fans with an accurate description of a player's injury status/availability and how much he participated in practice during the week.

It says this specifically about game status reporting: "Teams must notify the league, their opponent, local and national media, and the league's broadcast partners of the status of their injured players by 4 p.m. ET the day before their next scheduled game."

The term "normal repetitions" applies to a player's participation in both individual drills and the team portion of practice. Consequently, a player who participates in less than 100 percent of his normal repetitions during either the individual or team portion of practice should be listed as "Limited Participation."

Tannehill was listed as a full participant Thursday despite Gase later saying Osweiler took some of his first-team reps. Tannehill was also listed as questionable up until game time, despite ESPN and other reports labeling him as more "doubtful" than questionable. These are two of the issues that will need to be answered by the Dolphins. It's worth noting that these investigations regularly result in no penalty if the NFL is satisfied with the answers it receives.

The Miami Herald was the first to report the NFL's investigation."

Career. People going back and making his Texan tenure not his fault or the fact that he was not even good enough to get a chance for the Browns, or honestly how he wasn't that good in Denver.

Brock had a really good game last week David may turn his career around. That doesn't erase his not so good at quarterback past.

There is a reason almost all people singing his praises here were laughing at the Dolphins for signing him

He was dirt cheap and knew Gase's system- anyone laughing (then or now) is an idiot. He spent three years on the bench learning Denver's system, had one decent year and then the Texans vastly overpaid for him to be in an offense he didn't fit and a coach who didn't want him. Those two seasons you keep talking about- he was slightly better statistically than Tannehill's first two years.

You're letting the perception of the media and the business of the NFL cloud your judgement here...nobody is saying Osweiler is the next Marino. He's a very good fit though for what this team does and he CHOSE TO BE HERE. Osweiler actually turned down 3 or 4 other offers to come to Miami.....why did a guy that everyone think sucks have 4-5 opportunities to make a roster? It doesn't make sense if you buy into the talking heads BS that he's a horrible QB.
