On a side note, the story said nothing that we didn't already know- it was basically the same press release quotes other articles have covered (Tannehill can go any day, Tannehill's on rest-duty from throwing but practicing otherwise, etc.). It also said that Wake is 100% ready but they were going to wait until the weekend to make it official.
Well, we might as well embrace it because he's who we have right now. Hopefully he can make the best of his opportunity.
Brock has always been a really loose/goofy guy, especially earlier in his career. He processes the field quickly though which is the #1 thing I want for a QB in this offense. Anyway to my first point uo there, it wouldn't shock me if he is the type of guy who realizes his potential after hes been kicked around a bit. That said, I'm not advocating him starting based off one game. However if he shows the ability to consistently move our offense I can't say I'm 100% fine with Tannehill waltzing back in. That said, it isnt my choice.
I think Brock has made his case for being our permanent backup like Matt Moore was previously. Who knows it he gets real hot maybe we'll get some trade offers for him
