After hearing the news, legislators in the state of CA are currently drafting legislation banning the importation if Ryan Tannehill to their state.

I heard he was on the way back from Tyson Clabo's house. Something about an offer he couldn't refuse.

i heard tannehill was going to try and recruit a dynamic, seam busting tight end this offseason, but trying to impress and aaron hernandez is going a bit overboard :tongue2:

No, that would presume he had some sort of game to begin with..which is not true.

As long as it did not end with "..rifle was found after car was linked to liquor store holdout.."

Seems like a Blonde moment on Mrs Tannehill's part

Is it wrong that I'm picturing a wild boar that actually wants to be eaten, desperately trying to slow down every time RT undershoots it in an ultimately unsuccessful effort to get hit?

But to be fair after emptying a full clip about half the shots hit and bounced right off.

    Scary.

No one outside of law enforcement and the military needs a weapon like that. I like Ryan a lot.....but thats a black mark on him for me. I know that a lot of players are stupid and get into bad stuff, but I'd have higher hopes for the franchise QB.

as someone who's never handled anything beyond a .45 hand gun, I can say that I would be scared if I opened a rental car trunk and saw that looking back up at me. has nothing to do with thinking it will go off if I look at it, and more trying to figure out if it's legal, who had it before me, are they going to be coming to find it? was it left on purpose?

there is a lot of stories you can make up in your head about this situation, and none of them are "an NFL players wife must have accidentally left this here, no big deal"

It's really stupid to leave something like that behind...but holy hell how does the car get rented again? The fact that it was re - rented with a huge *** gun in the back is way more ridiculous than owning that to begin with.

A-Z, obviously. What I find funny is that people with the kind of money the Tannehills make opt for a cut-rate rental car company.

Many don't. Its a popular job amongst college kids and and in-between jobs. It's not like TSA is doing the cleanouts. I've gotten into a rental cars plenty of time with all types of crap. I won't complain. One time someone left me a fifth of Makers :)

    Huh?

Do you know anything about an AR-15? Its an extremely popular rifle that a great many shooting enthusiasts have. Its the most popular rifle in America.

    http://www.cnbc.com/id/100606839

You are saying all that because of how it looks. Its a light weight easy to shoot rifle...and guess what...its a VERY popular model for women.

    http://www.cnbc.com/id/100650400

The Tannehill's are from Texas, where owning a firearm, and learning to shoot them, are part of the culture. Just like it is here in Vermont. Now, I do not personally own a weapon..but I'm not a hunter, nor a gun enthusiast. But to vilify those that do have these guns...especially when you have no idea what you are talking about, is the reason why the media creates this kind of crap to begin with.

    Hey....one positive from all this.

Anyone gonna **** with Lauren Tannehill now?.....attractive young woman with alot of money, and she knows how to take care of herself. And from looking at the pics of her shooting, she has been taught well.

Yep. Enterprise picks you up and drops you off, and they have good vehicles. You can take the small town out of the boy...

BTW, there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with owning that gun or any other.

Why would the military use a semi-automatic non-burst civilian rifle?

This post is rife with ignorance about the functionality of firearms and prejudices about their owners.

The AR-15 is a civilian rifle that packs less of a punch than a lot of high-powered hunting rifles. Qualifying a lightweight carbine as "bad stuff" or a "black mark" against a person is perpetuation the vilification of law abiding gun owners. The rifle is very common and praised for it's versatility. There's absolutely no reason to look down upon those who own one.
