Players are usually optimistic about playing after an injury. What do the medical experts think.

Matt Moore has proven to be more than capable to replace Tanny until he is fully healed so I hope they dont rush him .
IMO it will be interesting to see Moore play .We may see more deep passes

I may not make trip to Indy after all.

I got my tickets next week, got my Tannehill jersey, all I need now is this guy to get healthy for this week. I want to see Tannehill vs. Luck head to head.
-
A deep thigh bruise and a hyperexstenision is nothing serious.
I wouldnt be suprised if he doesntbplay against Indy, given that we can beat them without Tannehill.MAFishFan likes this. -
Matt Moore was serviceable, but nothing more. He had just enough good throws to get the job done, but I wouldn't want him to start! I was praying the whole game that RT would go back in. Moore will have a good play, then the next will be a head-scratcher and on and on... Luck Vs Tannehill sounds MUCH more appealing to me!

Ya know, there has been many times in the last 10+ years that we haven't had the luxury of a bona fide, NFL starting caliber QB much less a qualified backup. MMoore has started in this league to a moderate amount of success and he's our backup guy now... I don't know why the disrespect for what he's done for this team, both last season and this season. I'm like everyone in that I want to see Tanny in there, because he's our future and he needs the experience to keep this team moving but MMoore once again only proved that he can step in and get the job done... It wasn't pretty and it wasn't a statistical shining stars' performance, but he still got the job done. I will say that MMoore seemed to want to go deep more often than Tanny, something that Tanny can learn from.
Don't get me wrong, Tanny is our #1, but I'm glad we've got him as our #2 with Tanny out, however long that be... -
It goes without saying that we all prefer that Tanny would start next week but if it means risking his season I dont think its worth playing him .There will be plenty other Luck-Tanny matchups to look forward to in the fuure.
My hunch is that he will play. -
Thank you Jonathan Martin for not seeing the 240lb+ linebacker coming right at you.

I have no idea how a team like Arizona didn't pony up to trade for Matt Moore. He's not a franchise-changing QB, but the guy can play.
That said, I hope Tannehill is ready to take on Luck next week.PhinsRDbest likes this. -
I think it was a smart move to keep Tanny out after the injury. By the time they got him in the locker room, the Dolphins were up 20-0. No reason to risk anything there. That said, I hope he's ready to go next week. I think he could do some big things against the Colts.

I thought Moore played a really good game. If Gaffney doesn't drop the touchdown his numbers look much better.

Im as big a fan of Moore as anyone, but we only saw the good Matt Moore, not the bad one that will stare at the rush and put the ball on the grass

Matt Moore has shown that he is a high quality backup. As a starter, he would definitely struggle...especially in this system. I really hope T-hill is ready for the next game. Matt Moore still impresses me though and I hope he remains our backup for awhile. Awesome know that you have someone reliable on the bench.

Anyone know if VD is playing Sunday?

I'm excited for the Tanny/Luck match up. But if its prudent to have him sit a week, so be it.

I think it will be a close game and it will come down to a FG by one of the teams in the fourth quarter to pull out the victory. I just hope the team kicking the winning FG is the Dolphins.Agua likes this. -
