That would be an awesome tandem in the middle, Deej! That'd be nice..... drop back 6-8 spots for an extra 3rd rounder and then use that pick to move up 2a for Eifert. I'm down with that. Wallace on one side..... perhaps Swope, Wheaton, or Patton on the other.
DeSean Jackson is always hurt and is becoming a concussion case. Not sure he's really the right example to illustrate your point.
... and so is Jake Long who's 6'7, 315. My post was referring to how Jackson's size hasn't limited him solely to the slot. There wouldn't be a reason to play Austin outside for more than 10-12% of his snaps, so I simply don't see why he can't handle such a small workload there when DeSean Jackson with a smaller build can spend most of his time on the outside.
Those highlights reminded me how great and athletic that LSU defense was. And, big physical DBs (aside from T.M.)
Greg Cosell, whose work I highly respect, had this to say about Tavon Austin: "Most explosive playmaker in draft," Cosell tweeted. "Can align anywhere. Matchup nightmare. Could be caught in transition phase in NFL. More of space game now. More multiple uses for players like Austin. Like Cobb in GB last season." Cosell added that Austin isn't just a slot receiver, "he is more than that." Source Rotoworld. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/cfb/131020/tavon-austin Also Bengals had him in for a private workout. As with a number of players in past drafts, I can see a team in the top 10 go for him. I might be crushed if he does. If he makes it to 12 - hard to pass up for me.
