I think he nailed it and spoke the truth. Everyone has different motivations, and the guys who want to win it, it shows, whether they do or not.
Then there are others who just love the lifestyle, its not often you see them winning a SB. -
Does this strike anyone else as odd:
"You play this game to win a championship,” Taylor continued. “Everybody has different motivations. Some guys want to be famous. Some guys want to make money. Some guys just want to get into clubs for free. Some guys want to win championships."
Taylor really sounds like hes contradicting himself here. He's said before that he wants a chance to win a championship this year, and then he goes and talks about how much he wants to act and be in hollywood (famous). Doesn't make much sense why he would throw that famous jab in there with the other ones when thats exactly what he wants to do. -
On a serious note, I don't think he was talking or trying to about himself. I think he was talking in general about NFL players and their motivations. As for himself, I think he is looking toward playing for a championship right NOW but in the future, he may want to be famous for his acting in Hollywood. One thing is that it seems some are assuming he wants to go to Hollywood to be famous. Maybe it was just one of his childhood dreams to be an actor as well as a professional football player. -
The article is about Strahan anyways. Stray will always be one of my favorite players. He made me feel a lot better about living in NY and having to deal with the other annoying franchises lol. How he carried himself, he was always the real definition of a leader. His retirement is a far bigger deal then Favre's for me. I hope he gets his desk job on ESPN asap.alen1 likes this. -
